I requested on my wedding invitations that the guest RSVP by email, phone, or our wedding website. I have only had one RSVP through the website which has kind of shocked me. I would say everyone should have their invitations now and it has only been two days but it does not look like many people have even visited the wedding website (it shows a counter) and I guess I just thought that would be where most people would head. I know I would.

Who else did their RSVP's this way?? How did most people respond? It is just so much easier to keep track of when they do it on the website : )

I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Besides only being 2 days in, the lack of response may be due to busy schedules, or the fact that some people are not as internet savy or internet trusting as some of us are. Some people (like myself) will prefer to return their RSVP by phone or snail mail. IMHO, it just seems a whole lot more personal.

We invited a large number of guests and had to do a personal followup by phone with some of them. Yeah, it was a little stressful, but it all turned out. I'm sure yours will turn out as well. :)

You're only two days out. I wouldn't worry about not having RSVPs yet at this point. Most people dont respond that fast.

Unfortunately, it's not unusual to get to your RSVP by date and still have many guests not RSVPed at all. I wonder if the option of RSVPing by phone or on-line will help alleviate this problem, or not affect it at all.

We are also doing our rsvp's by email or phone. FH's cousin did it the same way and said that she had a good experience with it so I said why not. Good luck and I know the anticipation is killing you as it will with me!

We sent RSVPS (that they could return), and also included on there that they could RSVP online or call. One person called, and then returned the RSVP later. No one did it online. Oh, and only about half the people even responded at all! Most of them were after the RSVP by date.

It has only been two days, I am sure that there will be more hits on the website during the weekend! Some people are so busy during the week, and they might be blocked from your webpage at work! It will be fine! YOU ARE ALMOST THERE!

It's been a good three weeks since we sent our invitations out and out of 180+ people, only 30 something have RSVP'd online so far - so don't get discouraged :) Some people put it off for whatever reason.

I know I'm always bad about RSVPing! Just be patient!

We sent ours out March 1st. I still am waiting on like 5-6 responses. We only invited about 25 couples (max) because we are doing the destination wedding. I need them back bt April 17th. Though, I am suprised there still "out there", I'm sorry, you would know by now if you are going to Vegas for a May wedding! uggh! lol:flower:

i am having mine mailed back to me. so far we got like 12 back so far and tomorrow will have been a full week for family and saturday a full week for friends

i was thinking about how people use postcards as rsvp cards cuz it is cheaper. i was thinking about all the people on here that have not recieved their postcards from their secret buddy.

Its exciting to get RSVPs back, and that is interesting about the postcards.
