Did you know Mark and i got stuck in traffic last night for two hours. An hour and a half we had the car off. We didn't move an inch. It was fun though. We got to talk lots and we worked on our thank you speech for the wedding. We sang along to the songs on the radio.... it was an extremely odd time out from the world for us.
Did you know when we finally got past the accident, it made me horribly sad cause there was alot of damage done on the 4 cars involved. Seeing things like that make me nervous about having such a small car.

Did you know that when my son was 2 months old, I had to drive myself to the ER (his dad didn't want to get out of bed) because I was in horrible pain for aobut four hours?? Did you know I had kidney stones and that they had me in the ER for 5 hours on a bed, and never gave me anything?? They said I had to just let them pass.

They came back across the border to get some stuff and went to go back over and were pulled into the Immigration Building (because of her probation papers). Well, she got belligerent with the Immigration Officer and was told she was not allowed to cross the border until 5 years AFTER her probation is up (which is in July or August). She's probably on some list now too...she really has no idea what consequences are. Oh well.

Did you know the first time I REALLY went to the States I was in Salt Lake City airport and on the tar mack at LAX but only really set foor in the USA when we landed in Hawaii!! When i was a kid we went to Buffalo New York...but I don't really consider that to be the States experience so much because its just over Niagra falls! lol. I'm a silly girl! And I was only like 7 when we went!

They are getting tight at the borders. I grew up on the border. And I mena RIGHT on the border, we walked into Canada all the time. You could yell across the river. Going into Canada is not so bad but it's the coming back that takes forever. There is only one lane on the bridge and the big 18 wheelers have to go through an x-ray machine to see what is in the truck and this hohlds up the traffic. They are working on putting in a new bridge. And people are debating it. The bridge is the only thing that brings peopel to the small town I grew up in. There is nothing there and it is the tourist going into Canada that keep it alive. And where they are putting the bridge is right where the wild life refuge place starts. They are concered that the noise of the construction is going to disrupt the eagles and so forth. OK I have rambled on WAY too much there sorry.

There are soooo many cool things to see and do! The west coast is great see the mountains, lots of activties, The prairies are beautiful! Check out the Calgary Stampeed in July. Ontario is full of lakes and forests its beautiful too! Toronto, Ottawa, Niagra falls. Great places to Visit. Get to tknow the french part of our country in Quebec. The east coast has lots of amazing rock formations and whale watching is huge! I've never been there yet, but i hear its amazing! :D

Did you know I was sunbathing in the back yard yesterday while my FH was welding on a 4-wheeler trailer and I heard him run towards me when I raised up he was BEATING something on the ground about 15 feet from me?

It was a 5 foot black snake...he said he was looking at me all oiled up and thinking bad thoughts :bbredface: when he noticed something move above my head...he ran up to where I was and shooed it away and killed it :bbeek: ...needless to say I moved to the deck! The darn thing must have been under the 4-wheeler trailer and when he moved the trailer it disturbed it and it slithered up into the yard with me!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Thank you, I am mainly worried about my step dad. If he gets too stressed out or upset, he takes the chance of seizing himself, so I am glad that my mom is there to comfort him right now.

Did you know my DH pull some ligaments in his arm last night!? He went to the Dr today and they aren't sure how bad it is ... they say to wait 7-10 days and see if it gets better. They gave him some prescription Ibuprofen for the pain and inflammation. If it doesn't get better, he may need surgery :bbeek:

Did you know.....that we are going to start farming?

I posted a while back that we might have some really exciting news to share and it looks like 98% we are going for it. That means that we will be moving AGAIN! lol...but it means that both Matthew and I can pursue our dreams. Matt will still fly helicopters and we will both most likely get our spraying tickets. (for pesticides for spraying on the crops WITH a helicopter!) For some of you, this may not be big news but for us, this is a life altering chance and we are ready for the challenge. Between Matt's dad, brother and himself they will farm about 4000-6000 acres of Grain, barley and canola. This is an amazing oppurtunity for us, one that we cannot turn down! So its back to the farm for this country girl and back to dial up computers! We are probably moving in the fall or early next spring!! Wish us luck that all works out and we're livin our dream NEXT summer!!

Did you know thats very sweet!! Thank you Nikki!! We are going to look at farms soon. A lot of things have been "changing" since Matt's dad was in the hospital and we nearly lost him! I think he is beginning to realize just how important family is to him and how they've pushed us away. They actually told Matt's brother that is his wife's (the EVIL SIL) fault that we ended up moving 6 and a half hours away! Can you imagine being told that?? That's basically fessing up and saying how much we ALL dislike her...lol...maybe she won't come. One can only hope! did you know it went really well. Some of the needles hurt tonight and I never realized just how far they put them in but I have renewed faith that I am going to get pregnant soon. Matt is also thinking about going to see him for his headaches. I think they would be good for it, I really enjoy acupuncture as it gives you some time to lay there and think or SLEEP!! lol. I will have more appointments with him but for now, I'm just waiting on that dreaded Aunt Flo then we will go from there!! :) You really should check into it, they can cure all kinds of things!

Did you know that I smacked the tattoo artist when he first started mine:bbeek: ! He laughed (thank God... he was a friend) but that hurt! I only smacked him on the arm but it left a red mark (which was my focus until he got the little bugger done)!

And even though I'm scared of needles I've had 13 piercings...four in very painful and viewable places....where I could see the needle and one tattoo. Its all relative, the pain was always worth it to me, because of the final product. Just like I'm hoping it will be with the acupuncture!

I was explaining how he has taken Advil only twice since this happened and she was telling me about how high of a tolerance that most kids have. She was saying that if that was an adult with a broken arm, they would be screaming for narcotics!

Hes doing real good....only slowed down for about a day. The doctor said that she was considering taking the splint off and just putting him into a sling, but with him being such a boy, shes having him wear it for another 2 weeks.

Did you know I have won several things off the radio. The one that was my favorite was a concert in Elko, Nevada. It was Foghat and Grand Funk Railroad (some old rock). The concert was great and FH won $1250!! Couldn't complain

Did you know i've been completely avoiding doing laundry. It makes me crazy cause it's not hard to do. Stick in washer wait 40 min put in dryer wait 60 min TA-DA clean laundry. I just can't figure out why i am avoiding it. It's only getting worse.
