No, the cake itself is white. Then they take melted milk chocolate and pour it on top of each tier. It "drips" down the sides.. Really pretty. I have seen people have the same type of thing done with their wedding colors. I guess they take white cholocate and color it.

Hey Gwen....that has actually happened! especially if te child is in the beauty pagent thing. I have a friend in the town I grew up in thats a beautician and she said the youngest she had ever done a perm on was 18 months but she has styled a 6 month olds hair.

Someone was talking about hair ... Did you know my mom used to keep mine and my sister's hair so short people use to mistake us for boys :( She also went threw the perm stage, and with short hair we looked like we had an afro. Then there was a time when we had a rat tail! OMG, I can laugh now but I hated it ... Mom swears that we liked it when we were younger.

Looking back on pictures, I had longer hair before my sister was born (up until I was 3) so I think my mom just got lazy ;)

Do you know that my mother forced me to keep my hair at least waist length my entire life. She also made me keep those stupid straigh across the forehead bangs too. She set it in sponge rollers every time she washed it. And, I wasn't allowed to get dirty or sweaty because it would frizz up on her. The second I got a job and hit high school I had it whacked off to my shoulders. It has been there ever since. One length, no bangs. At least one a month she points out how unattractive it makes me and that I should grow it out, get a perm, and tease it some so it is poofy. I swear she is in a time warp.

Did you know that I made a new friend today? She lives here in the complex and she has a daughter a month older than Elias. I met her when I went to check the mail. My SHOES CAME IN!! And they're gorgeous. Very high heels, but I wanted it that way.

Anyway, I left to go check the mail and ended up hanging out with her and her little girl for about an hour and a half. I came home and Carlo was sitting in front of the computer, with this look on his face. Did you know that I LOVE Sushi? Just the rolls without the fish, since I am veggie.. We eat it all the time. It's actually very good for you. If you ate nothing but sushi, you would loose LOTS of weight. In Japan the obesity rate is so much lower than it is here.

I was only there for 20 minutes, and he did the same thing as the Stereolab concert. After 5 minutes he started screaming. I ran all the way home, walked in the door, and calmed him down.

Oh, and my Stereolab shirt is very cute. I'll have to take a picture and post it. We're also ordering the USB cable to hook up the fabulous new camera. Yipee!!

Did you know Huggies brand diaper wipes are awsome at getting that stuff off of clothes and it even takes the smell away? And when it dries theres no ring on your clothes!!!! My "baby" is 5 and I still have diaper wipes around the house! I use them for all kinds of stuff!!!

Yeah, I have heard that about some breeds but this one is suppose to be very affectionate.

Did you know that I talked to the breeder and she said to remember that he was raised by a woman and has never been around a man ... she said it will just take time. I also talked to a couple of other people that have Italian Greyhounds (on an IG forum) and they said that they too have had similar problems. Did you know that a year and a half ago I was engaged to my worst nightmare? After he had moved out, and we broke up, he entered my apartment witha key he wasn't supposed to have made a copy of and he beat the **** out of me. I called my cousin and he came over and called the police. While the police were there my ex called my cell phone. The police officer answered it and the ex handed hima line of bull!@#$ that I attacked him with a knife. Meanwhile, I'm standing there bloody and bruised (all he had was a bite mark and a scratch, both defensive wounds I might add) and the dink of a cop arrested me! I got charged with second degree reckless endangerment!!!! The only thing on my record! My ex's record is 30 pages long and they took his word over mine!!! DId you know I do those exact same things. The socks stay in the basket and I go through it in the morning to get every one dressed. My bed never gets made. Except before I get in it. If I am lucky Nihcolas will do the laundry and actualy pair up the socks and put them in the kids draws. THat happens once in a great while. They are done so that if there are any differences that you and your future spouse have, you can find them out and discuss them before you get married, i.e. true feelings on having children, family, money, etc. They feel that if you discuss these issues prior to getting married, you won't have such big problem in the future, and won't be so likely to get divorced. It's just thier way of trying to avoid the big "D".

I agree, but I think it is more than being a private person. I think it is just something you have to handle on your own. After all, some people lie in front of others, especial church officials. I knew a girl once that spent months in the church required premarital counseling, took that test and still ended up divorced 2 yrs later.

Anyway, enough about that, I am not trying to start anything. This is all just my opinion ... whatever works ;) I hope I have not upset anyone :D I wish all of us a long and happy marriage!!

That's what ours is like. It's supposed to give us an idea of the things we need to discuss a bit more before the wedding. I don't think this test has a whole lot to do with the church. I already know what it is going to come back and say we need to talk more about.

I had a Pug dog several yrs ago and all I did with him was take him out several times a day and give hum a treat when he went. Eventually he got the idea and went every time and even would tell me he had to go if I forgot to take him out.

I heard this breed (Italian Greyhounds) were often harder to potty train, but I figured it would be easier with an older pup (he is almost 10 mos old) I read online to take him out ever few hours and if he didn't go then to crate him or keep him ob lead in the house ... so I am trying that.

Did you know he finally went potty outside after holding it all day! So lets hope this is the start of a good habit and next time I won't have to crate him all day before he gets it.

My dad is ordering the invitations tomorrow!! And on Wednesday we are going to a bakery up the street for a tasting!! I've got to call and get my prescription filled, make a Dentist appointment for FH, a Pedi appointment for DS, get price quotes from a few wholesalers for flowers (we're going for Hydragenas, we'll need 30 stems instead of 130, for the centerpieces) and make a few more appointements for the cake. We're going to go this week to look at the actual room where the wedding is going to be.

My dad is ordering the invitations tomorrow!! And on Wednesday we are going to a bakery up the street for a tasting!! I've got to call and get my prescription filled, make a Dentist appointment for FH, a Pedi appointment for DS, get price quotes from a few wholesalers for flowers (we're going for Hydragenas, we'll need 30 stems instead of 130, for the centerpieces) and make a few more appointements for the cake. We're going to go this week to look at the actual room where the wedding is going to be.

Did you know Mark mailed our invitations today?! It's a little early, but doesen't hurt because anyone who would want to book a hotel room would have to do it by the 3rd of May. And since we have so many people coming from out of town we thought they might appreciate the extra couple days rather then waiting until next week which will be the 8 week mark.

Did you know that the faux wax ROCKS?! It's really pretty. I got the glittery kind, and it really is nice. I think I'm going to pick up some of that silver wax to make them shiny at Hobby Lobby. You just rub it on, and it highlights the design. Really pretty indeed.

My invitations are in Dallas, and my Fans shoud be here tomorrow. I'm going to get some ribbon and add some little streamers on them. Just something nice, to add a little embellishment.

Did you know that I have never been a big fan of gemstone jewelery ... but yesterday I found the coolest ring and it has diamonds in it. It is not a solitaire or anything, it white gold, a unique design, almost looks like two rings interlocked, and it has little diamond specs on the top of one side. I wish I could find a picture. Anyway, it is only $300! I saw another one I liked too but it was $800. I also found some 1/2c Moissanite stud earrings that I love and they were only $150. I may have to get them, I shouldn't have gone in there ;)

Although I was a bit upset when the guy sized my finger ... apparently my fingers have gotten fat. I used to wear a size 7 ring, not anymore :bawling: So anyway, I think I may put the ring on layaway and order it a half size too small to help motivate me to loose weight ;)

Did you know today i found the perfect job! It's a graphic designer/ layout artist for a local magazien called food & home. I am exsited because it requires Interior Design and Graphic Design skills so i am really hoping my education will out way the required 3-5years expeirence. I really hate that you have to have experience to get a job but can't get experience with out that job.

Did you know this was the most exhusting day. My daughter has a swollen cheek so I had to make arangements to get her to the docotrs. We are short handed at work so I couldn't just leave. I had to ask a girl to say an hour later to cover for me, had to ask Nicholas toleave work and go gether from school to bring her to me so I could take her to another town 20 mins away to see her doctor. He was late because of traffic and contruction. I was late getting her there so of course we were late getting in to see the doc. I had to have a co-worker pick up myson for me. She lives in the oppisite direction yet another 20 mins so she took him to the park to wait for us. Of course I had to let my daughter play for a little while then off to fill her percription ( waited 15 mins ) then to see Nicholas to let him know how things went. Then finaly headed home, another 30 misn drive. I am tired and hungry and the kids are filthy so they need their bath but I just can't move at the moment. I cant NOT WAIT to be in Laconia. THat would make things so much easier. (SIGH) Another 3 weeks I hope that is it.
