Did you know that my son's father called my son last night for the first time since Christmas (never sent him anything btw) and made excuses, and them blamed me for not seeing him???
Oh that sounds so much like my ex.....he doesnt call or come around and somehow thats all my fault!!!! BTW - his name was JOSH!!!!

Did you know Jason and I have picked out three names for children already? We were going to start trying for kids right after we got married, but now we have to wait at least until we get health insurance. So my plan is to save our pennies and get a house before we start having kids. Jason only wants two, but I want four! We'll see how I feel about that after I start having them.

Did you know that I used to get debilitating cramps the first day of my flow? I would get up at 7, take 4 tylenol, go immidiately back to bed, and skip school that day. If I didn't do exactly that, I'd end up throwing up, getting a really bad headache, and crying for hours.. I would have to lay in bed perfectly still. If I breathed too hard it woulkd send waves of pain through my body.

That's why I started on BC when I was 17. If I didn't, I would have killed someone!!! :bbmrgreen: Talk about PMS.

Wow, Carrie mine aren't that bad, I just feel like a whiner now ;) I took BC for a while and didn't seem to help me.

Did you know that I use to dabble in poetry but I haven't written anything in a least a couple of years ... I kind of miss it. I use to want to write a book and/or put out a calender with some of my photography and poems. Maybe one day I will do it ;)

Did you know that I've been working on a cook book for the last year or so? I'm still tweaking the recipes, and practicing making them. It's a cookbook for simple, healthy, quick, and cheap vegetarian meals. Sorta aimed at people who are just starting out, because it's hard to re-learn cooking.

I have apperently set a trend because my cousin Natalie is getting married next Feburary, and my cousin Todd will most likely be getting engaged soon from what i hear.

Did you know I have a dog named Sadie that I absolutely adore! She has her own bed, a monogrammed pink and green collar, she has blankies and toys, she gets to ride in the front seat of my car. I also sing to her and she gets treats every day. Sadie sleeps in my room. Her bed is on my side.

Did you know that I hate to cook and clean? I only do what I have to ... my house is not messy but I can go a couple of weeks without vacuuming :bbredface: But, we have laminate wood floors so that helps. And I am getting better with the cooking thing. I am up to 2 or 3 times a week now ;)

I bet it was......its been a long time since I slept that late. Brian will usually get up and tend to kids on weekends and let me sleep in a little but the everyday noise of having kids always wakes me up.

Did you know that Im trying VERY hard not to take the rest of the day off to go home and crawl back in bed? Im so tired today. Not having kids in the house caused me to not get much sleep.:bbredface:

Did you know that my DH used to tuck little love notes in my lunch when I was working? It really made my day because I was working with my often moody and hurtful aunt! It was nice to know that someone loved me those days when she was chewing me a new one!! (well every day that I worked for her!! I didn't do things wrong! She just wants everything done her way and she thinks she is the only one who is EVER right!! She has a lot of mental health problems!!!)

Did you know the other night when Mark was on his way home he got pulled over and the cop came to the window with his hand on his gun. He told Mark to give him his licence and registration very slowly and keep both hands on the wheel while he went to check it out. He came back and apologized for scaring him, but apperently somthing happened involving a car of the same year and model that needed to be found and delt with like that. :bbeek:

Did you know I got home from the rehearsal today and 10:30! Everyone was late and the bride changed the way the girls came out on me. I want to do it her way to make her happy but we talked about this 2 weeks ago ... made out the map of the church and all :bbrolleyes: Oh well, we worked it out but it just bugged me, that on top of all the late people. I gotta get up early and be at the Church at like 9:30am to help finish the decorations and such. Man, now I remember why I quick doing this full time *wink*

OH, did you know that we may have found the doggie we are looking for?! Not sure yet but I got an email from a lady today that has a 1 yr old dog that seems to be everything we wanted. The dog's name is Duncan, we are waiting to see pictures and get more details on him.

LOL i'm sorry.... I'm waiting for our next storm to hit. Wearing the sandles and capri pants on March 11th seemed too good to be true!

Yeah that is a good idea to talk to your doctor in the first place, perhaps there is something that is keeping you from sleeping like one of your meds that you are taking right now?? I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks.... I'm not sure. i did really well when i started a new med in Jan. I went back about a month ago and since then i have been struggling a bit more with sleeping. So i'm not sure what has happened. I think i might be stressing out a bit too much. I just need to find the right thing to calm me down before i go to bed.

Yeah.....after we get the other Shawna married off next month, then theres 5 I believe in May, 3 or 4 in June.....then I think we slow down a bit until the end of the summer. Then it picks back up.

That is actually a really good price. I bought azaleas for our mothers last Mother's Day and they were $15 a piece.

Did you know that in my first year of college a bird got caught in the flew of my fireplace. I heard it chirping for a while before i went in looking to see what was happening. When i opened the flu the little sparrow fell out and was just as shocked as i was. I tried to open the screen to pick it up so i could take it outside and he flew out and arround my apartment. I couldn't figure out what to do, finally i tried pulling the screen off the window cause he kept smacking into the glass, and couldn't so i had to get mark to come over and get it off for me. Eventually we got the little guy out. :) It happened again the next week when my roomate was home as well. This time the bird dive bombed us and came so close to my head he got a little tangled in my hair. We called the resident manager when the bird then got stuck behind the fridge in the coils on the back. He got the bird out using a spatual and this one went out the same window.
Shortly after that they fixed the mesh cap on the top of my chimney and i have never had another bird fall into my fireplace again :D

I did some more extensive research, and saw the company's true colors. Luckily I stopped payment on the $500 deposit that I was going to pay, and am only out $32 bucks instead. That's money that I was expecting to get back, because that's part of the scam. :censored: You pay in $500, but get it back.. But the whole thing was ridiculous, and evil, and I'm glad I stopped it all. And THANK GOD for online banking. That's money that I can spend on the wedding, instead of just being duped out of.

So, I've learned a valuable life lesson, and in the meantime, drank a few glasses of Five Alive. I love it!! :bbmrgreen:

Did you know that the only seafood I will eat is shrimp ... funny, a friend of mine that won't eat seafood at all calls it the 'cockroach of the sea' I guess she is right but it tastes pretty good to me. I got some at the store today and I am gonna make Shrimp Alfredo for dinner :drool:

Did you know that I love seafood and I could eat it every day. I also love cajun food especially boiled crawfish! Yes I am a mud bug fan and I am proud of it and can out eat most of the guys around here when it come sto them. Crawfish boils are one of my favorite past times. And sadly this year the crawfish farms suffered a lot because of Katrina and our forgotten about Hurricane Rita.

That leads me to another did you know. Did you know that during Hurricane Rita we lost half of our roof, went without electricity for 2 weeks, without water for 5 days, and had to live with my parents for a month until our roof got fixed. The heat index was over a 100 F and it was miserable. Water got in our house. All the sheet rock in the living room had to be replaced. We had a tree in our barn. We had a city curfew. There was no gas in our town. When gas trucks came through they were escorted by the cops. When a station did have gas you had to wait in line for hours to get it.

oooooh that is a long flight. I went from Toronto to London's Heathrow on British Airways a couple years ago. It was definatly long but not too bad. Watch 2 or 3 movies. It was neat cause they had a nap on the TV that showed you where you where in the world. It was very neat.
I recomend you bring a really good book and a puzzle or somthing to work on as well. And some snackies of your own.... never trust airplane food.

We are touring about, im coming with my University, we start in Santa Monica then camp in the Morajve (sp?) then onto Carizo Plains then back to Santa Monica 2 weeks later where we recover for a week! Have a list of all the places we are hoping to drive through but i think we only acutally set up camp in 3 or 4 of them.

Santa Monica is wonderful as is Santa Cruze. We drove doen the golden mile? I think thats what i called. I can't remember. And saw the lone cyprus tree out on the edge of the ocean. I have so many pictures, i love to sit down and draw that tree. Driving through the forests was so neat with the massive trees! Ah! i want to go back! :D

I lived in Santa Cruz for a while, but left because I couldn't find work. It was really pretty. I would totally move back to cali, but as a single mom, it's too expensive. My Fh is in the Air Force, and he won't be stationed there, so that would make it difficult to move there too.:bbmrgreen: +

Hayley, Kiera is cool doggie names. Weblady, dog's only respond to their name because they recognize the first sound of it along with the tone of your voice that you say it in. So if you change Duncan's name you want to stay with something that "D" sound. At least that is what I was always told by people. It iwll make the adjustment easier for him. (By the way if Ellie was a boy, Duncan was on the list.)

Well, we were going to go look around at the stores here in town that sell moissanite to compare before ordering it online. I was going to pay the same, plus shipping, anyway.. So we went to JC Penney's. Well, they were having a HUGE sale on the jewelry, so a ring that was originally $1207, then it was on sale for 40% off.. And then 15% on top of that. So, after tax, he paid $599. Not bad! The cushion ring that we had picked was $599 as well, but the shipping and everything would have been $25.. Plus I would have had to wait 2 weeks. No fun to wait!

Did you know that mine are printed in "script" and in turquoise ink? They look really nice.
Did you also know that I wasted about 10 envelopes trying to get it right? I had to do some major maneuvering to get it where I wanted it......especially the return address on the back.
And Heather.....there might be a font that looks like caligraphy.

My mom suggested i do that, but i felt i wanted that personal touch. i did print the return address on the back and the envelopes for the reply cards on the computer.
