I liked the pages on http://www.guestbookstore.com/ and since DF is a graphic designer, I figured he could design something, instead of ordering it.

We're going to use 8x8 paper, went last weekend and picked out some nice scrapbook paper. So since it's smaller paper, we're going to have each person do two. I don't really like the "draw a pic of us" part, and wanted to have more questions on the page.

So far I like the "how do you know them" question, possibly the "favorite memory" question. Still iffy on the second one, since I honestly have only meet half of the guest list once (they work with DF).

I thought maybe a future kids names part would be cute, like "What do you think they should name their future kid? Boy: Girl: "

What questions do you think would be fun?

We totally did the same thing. We designed our guestbook pages based on those we saw on that site. We had a place for them to sign their names at the top, draw a portrait of themselves and print their name underneath, then a section for them to share a favorite memory of me and/or him (that's how we worded it: "Share your favorite memory of Kristina and/or Kevin..."), and then a box for them to write their special wishes for us.

I was stressing for a little while about another pretty big section of the paper (we did 11"x11"), but then I decided to create a little organic doodle thing to fill up the space, and it looks really fun now!

Good luck with your's!

I think it would be fun to let your guests unleash their creative side. Leave a little space and suggest they draw something to do with your wedding day. They could doodle a likeness of you and your groom, try their hand at drawing your wedding cake or whatever it is that inspires them.

We are making scrapbook pages based off of this website as well. But intead of doing the draw a self portraite we are going to place a 5X7 piece of paper on their page so that we can put a picture of them. WE will either have one of my cousins take pics of everyone as they come in, or we are going to have it be part of their photo hunt with the cameras on the tables.

You can ask them; favorite memory, advice, quote, favorite thing about weddings, one thing that the newleyweds should do before having kids, one place that they should travel together, how to make the relationship last, one thing you never say to your spouse, a great restraunt a couple should visit for the best food, sport or hobby they should try and why, thier hopes a wishes for you, how many children they think you will have (if any), sex of first child...... hmmmmmm.......

Hope this helps.....

Well, now I kinda wish I could remake mine using some of your suggestions! Good thoughts! But I can't... already spent too much money on it!

I think you buy it in packages of 20? But I figured, DF is a graphic designer, might as well use his talents, LOL!

I just got mine in the mail yesterday! It looks better in person! And I'm finding a ton of deals on markers for the guests to use!
