need ideas

I wasn't sure where to post this question. I want to do something like this on each table. Not as favors, but as decoration. I want everyone to actually eat the strawberries though. Should I put appetizer picks next to each basket or toothpicks? Any ideas?

you could do that or have a cute poem on the card that say eat me. I am horrible at poems so I am sure the other girls could help better with this but maybe something like: So sweet or you to come, here is some sweet strawberry's for you to enjoy!

I like the poem idea! Do you think we should still put tooth picks next to the baskets? Will people think its gross to get with fingers?

I personally wouldn't care if there were toothpicks or not... if they are there for eating, I'd eat them! But some people might want some there as an option.

I think toothpicks would be a good idea just in case you have a germ-a-phobe at your wedding. But I love the idea it's super cute.

you could get some fancy toothpicks or something and stick them in the berries already. then use the poem idea too. not very good at poems either but i thought of

Not the best poem in the world but should help to get you thinking anyway. I love the idea of the baskets with fruit.

You can even get the decorative toothpicks that match your colors. Although, if you're doing whole berries I wouldn't bother with the toothpicks.
