My DIY centerpieces and Table #'2

I love it!!!! Are your centerpieces square or rectangular? I'd say if they're square, to do maybe a triangle with the pictures so that everyone at the table can see them. Are your tables round or rectangular?

wow thats very unique!! I love it...but I think that there is something missing...I cant put my finger on it though. Hopefully Earlybird will see this...she always adds a finishing touch!! But overall I LOVE it!!:laugh:

My first thought was that there was just too much going on. You have the vases, pictures, rocks, water, flowers, picture, lights, marbles and mirrors. I think it might just be too overwhelming for me.

I think I'd think it'd look more elegant without the marbles laying on the mirror and maybe even without the flowers around the bottom of the vase (I love it on the top though!).

I love it, though! It's different!! :happy:

they are call floralytes :)

They are little lights that can be submersed into the water and last 8 hours on batteries.

I think it would be cute if the loose pearls were actually on the strands... kinda do it like a draped necklace over theflowers... and I like the idea of the light submerged in the middle so it can glow upward towards your picture instead of from the side

yes there is a picture from both sides so it can be viewed on both positions.

I tried the petals but they seemed too big for that mirror size.

But when I did was got rid of the pearls and flowers on the bottom and just added a white ribbon to it.

I also changed the vase shape to circular because they were cheaper than the square ones (.99 cents).

I think if you get rid of the flowers around the base and more pearls instead it wouldn't be so distracting. Other than that, I think you did an excellent job.

I think this is beautiful! I don't think it's too busy... What color are your tablecloths going to be? You're on your way to a beautiful wedding! I think you could add something more inside the vase.. maybe that's what you're missing?

i really love that! I dont know about the flowers on the top i think maybe replace the flowers on the top with ribbon with pearls on there too. I saw that picture and really wanted to make mine look like that.wow its wonderful however you want to do it. where do u get lights like that?

I think it's just lovely! I don't think it will be too much if it's on a typical reception round table. Things tend to look just right on the kitchen table but then put them on a big 8-person round and they almost get swallowed up.

Only thing I would change...remove the individual pearls. They only detract from the strong centerpiece, plus would provide a hazard to kids as they're the perfect size to put in the nose, ear, etc.
