i would be careful in doing cameras for tables. ALot of the pictures people take are not ones you want you will get kids faces, tongues, privates, and floors and stuff i would suggest with putting on tables with cameras for adult used only and to take good photos.

Also a lot of people can't figure out how to use those cameras, so many of the photos come out dark, out of focus, etc. that, and you end up with several cameras with only half of the exposures taken, so you've got to decide whether to develop them half used, or take several cameras with you to take the rest of the exposures.

I think that I might get a few cheap cameras for the children just so they can have fun with them and hopefully it will keep them busy!!

i think that sounds like a great idea, im having my daughter run around with my digital camera, see what she comes up with, she is actually a very good photographer for being 5, lol.

The key is when you develop them, you only get them on a disk (2.99) then you can pick the pics you want :)

Good deal!

We'd like to do cameras too, thanks for the link! And we're sort of hoping for half-used, 'cause we can use them for other post-wedding things, like the luncheon the day after and on the honeymoon and whatnot.

We don't need all that many, really, one per table-of-eight seems to be ideal, not too many, not too few. As for wierd shots, heh, that's the risk you take! You don't have to show ALL the photos to your friends or put them ALL on your website, or whatever, just ignore the funky ones.

Yes you are going to get some photos that are going to out of focus and some that you don't want. However one of my friends who just got married had her mother bring the pics in for speedy developing and we got to see pictures at gift opening the next day. And you get pics that you normally would get by the photographer. Then they sent them out with some of the thank yous, that way people get photos of themselves from your wedding!
