Here is how I spent my day off. I made RC and my dad each a pie. Dad has stage 2 dieabetes so his is made with Splenda. RC has cane sugar. I'm pretty happy how they turned out. I finally figured out how to do two crusts.

I so want a piece right now but I'm trying to be good and wait for RC to get home before digging in. I'm thinking that I'm going to make General Tso's chicken tonight for dinner and then have pie for desert. I'm SO HUNGRY!

If you start driving my way, I'll put on a pot of coffee to go with the pie. Better yet, how about some irish coffee? :)

Make it a pot of tea and you have a deal. We are getting ready to cut it now. I shall think of you all as I have my slice. Movies and pie! Life is good.

Tea it is. You don't mind good old tetley or salada do you? I'm not into herbal or green or flavoured teas. Do you take it with milk and sugar or just lemon?

Black with a little sugar. Should I bring the Vette or the Jeep? Just heard from my dad you would think I had brought him a chest of gold. They were not home when we dropped his off. Hope it was still a little hot.

Those look delicious.. not a big fan of apple but I am a fan of eating just the crust.. haha.. I hope I can get to that stage of cooking one time, once I become domesticated.. ha.. I am not the worlds greatest cook but would like to be at least decent... those look yummy, wheres the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream...???
