Ok so I think I have decided on a cupcake design and I wanted to do it with just regular icing. I just need to know what kind of things I should buy! If you know anything that I should buy that would be great :)

I'm not sure what you mean by 'what kind of things'. Ingredients? Decorations? Wrappers?

OK, not Tango, but ... are you wanting to get the look like the pic you posted?

I think all you need for that is a pastry bag with the right tip(s); now which tip(s) would be right, I have no idea :sweatdrop: ;)

Sorry I meant things to decorate the cupcakes. I was thinking of buying the bags to put the icing in and one of those tips. But I just didnt know if this was the best way to go about this :)

Oh!!! Now it makes sense!!

I'm at work, where they block most pictures. So I can't even see that you posted a pic from here. LOL

I'll try and tell you what tip it is when I get home and see it, unless someone else beats me to it.

The tip I use most is the 1M. It's my best friend! :bblol:

Thanks so much!! I thought it would be cheaper to use a bag and a tip but I just didnt know what tip to use to achieve this look but I can be patient and wait till you have time! I am in no big hurry:bblol:

I can't tell you what tip this is either, but I'm gonna offer a hint that I use when decorating cakes.

Wilton makes a disposable icing bag that is the bomb! They are thick enough that they don't burst when you are using them, but you don't have to wash them. Just cut the point off the bag, drop your tip in and you are ready to go! They can easily be refilled as you are using them. With buttercream icing (using crisco as the shortening) I always had a tough time getting the greasy feeling off my regular pastry bags.

Ok...I'm home. :bblol:

Those cuppies are REALLY cute!! I'd love to see a huge spread of cuppies decorated like that!

As for making them....

It's hard to see what they did in the middle, but I imagine the flowers are made with one of the petal tips (http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=3E30E0EE-475A-BAC0-502138B8E73921FD&fid=3E3324F2-475A-BAC0-59FB635EC5EF9D2E). The centers kinda look like one of the center tips here (http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=3E30DD64-475A-BAC0-5FBA791BBD7A052B&fid=3E3324C3-475A-BAC0-5DF027EB4874EBF7) (maybe 233 or 234?).

I found this instructional (http://cakestylist.wordpress.com/2007/05/03/royal-icing-daisy/) on how to do daisies. They say they use tips 104 and 5. It looks easy enough. (Of course, it always does look easy, doesn't it? LOL)

I wanna see pictures of your practicing!!
