View Full Version : Veil Advice
Ok so this is the hairstyle I believe that I want for my wedding, heres my question though....do I wear a veil with it, originally i said yes, but now am rethinking it because my dress comes down to about half way down my back in a v. It is really beautiful and I'm just worried that a veil will completely cover that up. So then I thought about wearing my hair up but I do'nt like the way I look with it up very much, and my hair isn't quite this long and won't cover up the back of the dress, just some of my exposed back...thoughts???

Why not wear a shoulder-length veil? I think that's what I'm going to do. :)
Well I thought about that, however my hair is a little longer than a shoulder length veil but the next closest length veil seems to cover up the back, so I'm torn, plus I'm not sure where I'd have it put on at...I don't want one that is right on top of my head but not sure where else to put it if I'm going to have all my hair down

I would suggest not wearing a veil at all!! I couldn't decide either and I didn't want to hide the detailing at the back of my dress either so I decided not to go with one at all!! I don't see the point of a veil so it worked out better for me!! That hairstyle is similar to what I want so I think that would look great without! I wouldn't know where to attach it anyway!! Just my opinion though!!! I hope it helps in your decision!!!

Maybe you should consider making a veil on your own, and make it as long as you need it to be.
You can follow instructions on some sites I ve seen.
