Hey Ladies!
I need your Winter Wedding color ideas! I am having the hardest time making a decision, so maybe some outside opinions will help me out...
I would love if you would share your colors and ideas with me! What color are your bridesmaids wearing? What sort of table centerpieces are you having?
Any input is GREATLY appreciated!!!

I like the whites and silver, maybe ivory or blue. What about white/silver and red?

All of you like silver and blue but I shall go with red.

I'm there with you shpinga. Mine sounds like a mishmash when I write it out, but it all seems to work - it will be combination of off-white or sort of pearlized white and deep raspberry with accents of raspberry, gold, silver and crystal bling. :D

Mine's going to be red, black, and white - with a lot of greenery thrown in. But mine is the Saturday before Christmas, so I'm sticking with I guess a typical Christmas wedding.

My colors are mainly red, silver and gold. But I am getting married 2 days after Christmas and have the Christmas theme as well. My girls' dresses will be red and white.
But I do love light blue and silver with a snowflake theme.

I'm another 8-08-08 bride. My bridemaids are wearing black. My centerpieces are black and white balloons with ivy going down to the table with pink and purple butterflies on the ivy and on the table.

Im having a winter wedding too!! My colors are going to be white, red and silver. I am having snowflake accents to make it feel more like a winter wedding. These are just a couple of the snowflake things Im using.

I'm having a winter wedding with red, black, and white. I'm trying to stay away from anything green though so it doesn't come off as too Christmassy

FH and I were originally planning a winter wedding for February 2009. Our colors were going to be Ivory and Ice Blue. I was REALLY excited about it. We were going to get 3 really narrow, tall topiary-type artificial trees to use as a background for our alter. All of the bridesmaids dresses were going to be Ivory with an ice blue sash, and the flowers were going to be ivory roses with wide, Ice blue ribbons hanging from them. We were doing a bit of a 'winter wonderland' theme.

Hi
I am getting married on sat 13th dec 2008 and have a dress that is ivory with fairly subtle straw-gold embroidery and beading across bust and scattered down one side of the skirt.
I thought about red and kept thinking I would go with traditional red xmas theme but then thought about the fact few reds actually suit me or my bridesmaids, so now thinking of gold or midnight blue dresses for the bridesmaids. A bit like the navy silver idea but different metallic and subtly different blue. I think its important to use the colours that feel right to you in the end. Red does look fabulous with ivory etc and perfect for Christmas.
I just need to work out gold or blue for bridesmaids now.
any thoughts??

Oh I would just LOVE to have a winter wedding! The snow, the ice crystals, it's all so beautiful. But unfortunately too hard to get into our town in winter so we opted for summer :sob:
BUT I would go with icy blues and silvery-white, and then RED. Of course ;) Oh gosh and I would serve hot chocolate and ... oh, sorry. I just so wish I could have a winter wedding.

I'm getting married this December, and we're also doing winter colors (blues, black, silver, white) with snowflake accents. Actually, at this point it's seeming more like a snowflake theme, but that's ok too. :)

My wedding is January 24th and I am doing midnight blue, white, and silver. I am doing crystals and snowflakes, white garden roses with hydrangeas(sp?) and freesia. We are also having white birch tree branches with white lights!
Hope this helps!;)

I do like the silver, white and navy blue. I think that is really pretty.
But what about something different like pink, white and silver? I don't know if you like pink but I could totally see a winter wedding with pink and silver and white. Anyway, just another idea to put out there. (I love pink so don't mind me) I could totally see a pint winter wonderland!

For some reason, I don't like color. Since we are getting married in Jan in the mountians there will most likely (Better **** well) be a few feet of snow on the ground. I plan to do as much as I can in white. I just think white is so classic.
If you want some color, I like the idea of navy blue and silver. I don't like 'typical christmas' stuff.

That's great information and good ideas, but this thread is about 2 years old and the OP hasn't been around in a really long time. ;)
