That is so amazing. The front page of our local paper today had a story about a man fishing and his boat capsized. He told the State Policeman who rowed out in a kayak to rescue him "Save the dog first". He always takes his spaniel mix with him, and refused to be pulled in until the officer put her in the kayak. Water temperature was about 50 degrees. Also said he didn't recommend it for swimming this time of year.
