The brides dress is Aqua with a brown sash - what color should the bridesmaids wear? We have looked for brown, but have had a terrible time finding brown for a summer wedding. We do not need a formal dress, just something casual. Any ideas on other colors that would blend or places to look for dresses.
June wedding at a Colorado horse ranch (outside).

So the bride's dress is aqua and brown... very cool!
What color will the bride's flowers be? Is it a color that you could pick up in the bridesmaid's dresses?
What about a champagne or beige color dress with a sash that coordinates with the bride? You could make/buy the sash seperate, and find the dresses pretty much anywhere. Macy's, JCPenny, even Kohls. In my mind I'm picturing tea length.
There's also the option of doing a lighter/paler shade of aqua.

Also, don't overlook places like Dress Barn or similar places. They have cute inexpensive dresses in a variety of sizes.

Thanks for the ideas - they are great. We have looked at so many dresses, but the color seems to be our biggest problem. We may resort to having the dresses made.

Sometimes having the dresses made is usually the easiest and most cost effective way to dress your party. Just be sure if you do have them made that you buy ALL the fabric at once. Since fabric is dyed in batches, it's real easy to end up with subtle differences in color that are very noticeable in pictures. If you're going to order the fabric, be sure the company dyes it all at the same time.

Here is a picture of my bridesmaid dresses. They are going to be espresso.
They are Jasmine Bridal. You can go to the website and change the colors of the dresses. We are having an outside wedding in a park and I wanted something tea length and simple yet pretty.

This Was My Original Idea With The Brown And Turquoise. Maybe At Dillard's You Can Find Brown And Aqua Flowered Dresses Since These Colors Are Very Popular Now.
