So this was my most ambitious project... the one that's been hanging over my head since I got engaged! I didn't want to spend $100 on a veil, and while eBay was an option, I really wanted to tackle it myself. I used the http://www.wegotgame.net/jen/veils.html to make a simple single-layer veil. My gown saleslady told me that because of the detailing on the back of my dress, I should get a single layer so people could still see it. I got WAAAY too much tulle (4 yards) and only needed about 45". But even so, it was $2.49/yd at Joann Fabric and I had a 50% off coupon. Bought a two-pack of brown combs from Wal-Mart, and had some white ribbon laying around to wrap around the comb. Then I sewed the veil onto the comb. I bought a pack of silk stephanotis with rhinestones in the center and used four of them to cover where I sewed the veil on. I'm excited because my bouquet will also have stephanotis with rhinestones in the center! Bonus!

The day is coming up fast but I feel like I'm staying on track with my projects! I had a great project weekend~~!

I went au naturel... and left it raw! I went by your KISS rule: Keep It Simple, Stupid! LOL.
