If you could be a super hero, who would you be and why?

Just wanted to have a fun question to think about...

Since Im always in one spot and need something way off in another spot and entirely to lazy to get up........Id want to be Elastagirl from the Incredibles. (I have kids and have had to watch that movie like 50,000,000,000 times)

I would be Batman. I agree with Carrie, rich, good looking, and gadgets. Not to mention a butt you could bounce a quarter off of and a hella cool car. Plus Batman never had to have his DNA mutated. To hell with wanting to be Batman that is too much work, I want to date Batman. (But only for awhile since being stood up to "save Gotham" would get old after awhile.)

OK I want to be the girl who goes invisible on Fantasic Four. That would be so cool to be able to be in a room and no one knows it. But can I do with my clothes on LOL Even though I may be invisible the though tof being in public naked still would feel weird. LOL

I don't know ... sometimes I think it would be cool to be able to read minds so I would know what people really think. Then sometimes I think it would be nice to be invisible or that fly on the wall thing, for the same reasons. Ooh, or if I could fly, that would be cool ... I hate traffic! ;)

I don't know if there are really superheroes with this ability, but I'd like to be able to transport places with my mind. Like, say, I could just think it and be there? No airfare, no need for a car, and if thay could add in taking people with me, I'd be set.

Yeah, that would be cool ... just wish yourself anywhere in the world. If you are at work and forget something, just 'run' home and be back to work in a second! Would defiantly make vacationing easier as well ;)

Or, what if you could even 'wish' for things to come to you?! That could be useful too ;)

Yeah, I wish I could twitch my nose and have all the housework done and dinner made and clean up after. I feel like such the bad housewife sometimes, I hate cooking and cleaning, I don't really know why ... I guess I just feel like I have so much to do. Sometimes I wish I could afford a maid, but then I would worry about a stranger going through my things. LOL, I bet if I wasn't on here so much it would help alot ;)

Ok, this may sound corny...but I'd want to be Mother Teresa...a younger version, but Mother Teresa. She impacted so many people's lives. I know she's not a superhero and doesn't have any super powers or nifty gadgets. But I think being able to do good for people and entirely selfless is probably the best non-super super power.

Kelli, dont worry about it. I needed that reality check! Brian read it and he agreed that he also needed to stop spending so much time thinking about himself. Hes been so worked up over the break in that he didnt realize that it could have been a LOT worse. We could have been cleaned out and we werent. The only real inconvience we have had was to secure the house more, but thats something we probably needed to do anyway.

I was telling DH about this thread and he said that he wouldn't want to have a super power ... too much responsibility, he said, I think he is right. It may be fun to consider the what if but, what are we really doing with our lives?

I think it is great to want to help others ... When I think of what I really want out of life, it is to be successful enough to have a nice things and have all my debt paid. I also want to be able to give and help others. I want to be able to give to charities and spoil my family and such. DH is looking into Habitat for humanity maybe we can help build a house, that would be fun. There are lots of things I would like to do.

Sometimes I feel like helping strangers more than my family, at least I know they would be appreciative :bbrolleyes: Ok, I will stop, I don't know what all that was about, sorry ...
