I'm sick..

This really stinks! i had to call off work and everything.. I don't even want to tell you how many times this year i've already had to call off because of sickness. :bbmad:
However.. Its usually broncitious... But it doesn't feel that way this time. My tummy is upset, but my lungs themselves don't feel bad.. My throat hurts (from coughing, and an episode of tossing my cookies..), my ears hurt, my sinus in my face feels like its going to explode. I had to take benedryl last night because i kept waking up every two hours having a sore/dry throat. I really hope this goes away by tomorrow.. I don't have insurance yet, so i don't want to go to the doctors, and i don't want to call off tomorrow (doc doesn't open till Monday). Help. ;-;

aww sweety sounds like a sinus cold. *hugs* i get them all the time though so they go away within a couple of days.there is no cure to the cold so you have to let it run its corse, what helps is a warm bath but keep the door closed while the water is running to make the room steamy, also spicy food makes my nose run like crazy and then i feel less stuffed up for a little while, and day quill and night quill helps :D

Neko... you should go to a drug store and get Airbourne... When I get a sinus or cold problem I end up doing double doses of that every 3 hours and usually within in 24hours I have 50percent or more better feeling... it has alot of vitamins and herbs to help with that.... it doesnt taste good but comes in multiple flavors and is a fizz tab that you put in water... good luck hun... or make some chicken soup... my mom's cure all with a glass of vernor's....:bblol:

Aww, my mommy used to have us lay in her bed and sip vernors, too. *^^*

I have to say.. i feel a HECK of a lot better. I got some of that sinus saline stuff for my nose (it was so stuff i was getting a headache) and some dayquill (knockoff, lol) from Dani. My nose won't stop running, and i can still feel drainage.. Hopefully i won't feel as bad tomorrow. Gatorade has been my friend, too.. Snuck over mommys house and watched TV most the day.
Thank you guys for all the tips!! I'll definitely try the airborne if it doesn't go away by tomorrow!! =D

Ohh sinus.. have you ever heard of a teppe pot.. i think thats what it is called,... its a mini teapot that you put warm water and some kind of menthol herbal that comes in the kit and you put it up to your nostril and let the water run through your sinus cavities???? I heard they are fantastic... the only thing it i practically choke when water goes up my nose... just another idea... i will try and find a picture of it and post it.. just in case:upsidown:
