Pressure washer as punishment

This isn't local, but I couldn't believe it! A woman's 2.5 year old (yes, 2.5!) was throwing a tantrum so they took her to a self car wash and sprayed her with the pressure hose as punishment for disrespecting her mother! Now the mom is trying to say that it wasn't really that bad, because we all know how fun it is to get a pressure hose in the face. Ugh, ridiculous.

I saw this on the Today show this morning. I can't believe some one would do that to a child. I don't care what the kid did she did not deserve that at all! On the show they had the manager of the car was on there and she showed the sprayer she used. That thing was powerful! I think it would even hurt an adult. And the mother was spraying her in the face and everything!!! Grrrr...some people just shouldn't have kids.

wow...I wonder how people like this even want kids. Whats the use of having children when all they are going to do is make the child pay for even being alive. Things like this disgust me:purplex:

It is sad, even if she didn't have it on the pressure level. I don't think spraying a 2 1/2 year old is going to make them stop crying or having a fit.

That bystander should be shot.... she coulda done something. I know I would have stepped up and took the kid away - but maybe I'm just too outspoken? That's INHUMANE!!! Also, pressure washers can bo so harsh that it can shoot water through your pores - that can lead to a lot of serious ****! I can't believe this. I didn't get to watch the whole clip, but did she get her kid taken away?

I hope they are severly punished. My grown son who is 24 had a accident with one of those pressure washers at a car wash this past summer. He lost his sight for several weeks and almost lost the eye over it. Those things are powerful. The wand hit him in the head several times and the thing sprayed directly into his eye causing the damage.

They should do this to those parents.

Because of a sick sense of imagination I have well, humor also.... picturing this in my head was funny... but to be honest that is down right cruel... I have had FH accidently spray me with one of those and it was on the back but it felt like millions of tiny pins... I couldnt imagine for a 2.5yrs old on the face where ther eis more sensitive skin.... but at 2.5y does the child really comprehend that they disrespected their mother??? I think someone needs Dr. Spocks book on child rearing!!
