View Full Version : What bugs you?

Whether or not you would actually do anything to "fix" it ... what bugs you about your physical appearance?

When I was a pre-teen, other kids used to tease me about my nose which would have me running for home in tears.

It's weird but my face kind of "grew into" my nose and so it doesn't look as big as it once did but I given my choice, I would prefer to have a "cute & perky" nose. I still won't post or let people take a photo of my profile.

My younger brother's used to bug me about "hairy legs" but a razor fixed that.

My "mommy tummy" bugs me but as long as it's piled into a pair of pants ... LOL I can deal with it.

The thing I might actually get "fixed" is the small hole in my cheek. I don't know where the heck it came from (blackhead perhaps?) or if I notice it more than anyone else but I hate it. It fills with dirt and it's just "icky".

Oh...there are tons!!

I always wished I had just a little bigger boobs...I know this is stupid but I just want a C cup!!

My tummy pooch bothers me cause I know 5 years ago I didnt have it!

My paleness also bothers me cause it is hard to go to a waterpark with all the tan girls in the world and me reflecting the sun off of my body and blinding everyone!

Other than that I am pretty happy with myself! And sadly I cant change any of these besides the tummy issue...BUT I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!:bblol:

I am a little self-conscious about my teeth. They're a little crooked, but I don't need braces, per se. My dentist told my mom when I was younger that I had a perfect bite, and didn't need them unless I wanted them for cosmetic reasons. Me, being a pre-teen, didn't want to have to wear them, so I opted not to. Now I wish I had because they aren't straight, and now if I get them, I'll be the one paying! lol

My hips are also slightly bigger than they used to be which irks me on some days. Some days they look fine to me.

Ohhhhhh I forgot that one ...... I did "fix" something. I had a reduction. Too bad you were only 2 (or so) at the time or, I would have given you my "leftovers"

I have moments where I am "bugged" by alot of things about myself. But realistically I just want to be in a little better shape and be healthy. If I could have better skin that would be good too.

I have 3 bumps, 2 on my chest right near my necklace pendant (no, not my boobs  ), and one on my left shoulder. They developed in High School. Getting rid of those would be AWSOME with no scarring.

I'd like to have my teeth whitened.

I wanna get down to 150 lbs.

That bout sums it up!

I'd like to have my teeth fixed... my brother and I both got the most horribly awkward small teeth and tiiiny mouths, so we have itty bitty teeth cramped in our itty bitty gums, and it's kind of ridiculous. I can deal with them for the most part, except right in front (well, to the side in front) one of the teeth is so tiny that it gaps on both sides. Ugh.

Also, I would love to see this weight I've gained since summer go away, especially the big big butt!

you and i have about the same issues.

I could be caspers sister, its that bad, and the boob thing, my mom and sister have HUGE boobs, (way too big) but when i was younger that made fun of me so much its a thing i would change. I dont want HUGe but a little more wouldnt hurt, FH is all gun ho about a boob job after we have kids.

the only other thing was my teeth, they wernt crooked but spaced... but I now have my braces off and they are purdy!

now the big thing is just getting into shape, it seems over the last few months i have picked up about 10 lbs and would like to get back down to 120 or so, and be more active.

I have a large gap between my top front teeth. I want it gone. I will probably get braces, or whatever I can, in the next couple years to get rid of it.

I also want to lose weight. I want to get down to at least 150.

I lost a toenail when I was like 10 and it grew back funky. I would like to get that fixed, so that it looks normal.

My small boobs bug me, I have always wanted some that are saggy and are perky.

My pointy nose bugs me, I feel like I have a Barbara Streisend nose

My double chin, I dont have that fat of face but i have a double chin when I pose a certain way

My flabby arms, stomach, and thighs.....

My blood shot eyes bug me, since I have gone back to school and been working non-stop I have noticed that I have been having constant blood shot eyes.... froms stress, being tired, and wearing my contacts longer that I should

My pastey white skin... haha I can lay out in the sun or tanning booth for a ong time, get burned but never tan!!!!

I have these nasty-looking old lady hands, and I'm still in my 20's. Why can't I have prettier hands?

I always had a bit of a double-chin, so annoying!

My hair is super-fine and wavy, which is probably the worst combo ever. It always looks limp and frizzy. Not fair...

I wish I was just a little bit taller, too. Being 4'10" is really annoying. People tend to infantilize you when you're really petite.

I feel good about my body most of the time (unless FFIL keeps calling me fat, grrrr), since I took lots of life-drawing classes and realized that curvy women make beautiful nudes, too!

I have more moles than I know what to do with...and I want 'em gone.

Also...well...I have a disease that causes me to have facial hair...so yeah, that can go too.

My boobs are okay size-wise, but not as...uh...perky as I'd like. Strike three.

I really wish I could shrink my feet, at least down to about a size 10. It's IMPOSSIBLE to find shoes in size 12.

I also wish I could lose the weight I have put on over the last year or so, especially in my thighs and belly. I just love to eat!

Elizabeth ... My nose bugs me the most too!!!
I have no nostrils! I swear ... they are like slits --- I have to take all my pictures smiling b/c it looks horrible if I don't smile. I got my mama's nose --- Argghhhh --- I used to get teased about it all the time!

Did you know that if you place your tongue at the roof of your mouth when you smile for pictures --- it decreases the double chin affect!!! Go ahead ... try it!

Well, I hated my moles, but now they're gone. I hated my hairy arms, but now that's taken care of too! :bblol:

I like my boobs alright, but they aren't liking gravity very much in my 30s. The perk is beginning to deflate, me thinks. I wouldn't mind having them pumped back up again. LOL (FH already said that he'll buy me a boobie-fixer-upper after we have a kid, though. WOOT!)

My hands are pretty darn ugly, though. I wouldn't mind having some model hands for awhile. Or at least for my wedding pics (those ring close-ups are gonna be scary! LOL).

I'm pretty satisfied elsewhere now. My last few pounds are just fluff....I'm pretty darn happy where I am at this point!

My fat. If i could be about 130, i'd be a happy camper. Too darn hard to find clothes! =/ Plus i want cute bathing suits again.. Why do companies seem to forget not everyone is built into a size 0?

It'd also be great if i didn't have my gimpy ankle. My sis calls me a rickety table, lol. Then i'd be able to wander to my hearts content and be active again.. Yay!! I loooove random wandering.. or museums.. etc.. :(

My mom used to get offended when I was upset about my nose. It's her nose too and her mother's nose. She'd tell me that it was a classic "Roman" nose ..... I said, "Yeah, roamin all over my face!"

OMG ladies .... I never even thought about my hands before. They have always been ugly because I bite my nails but now that you mention it ..... they do look veiny and bumpy. I only hope that my fingers don't go "all crooked" like my grandmother's fingers did.

For starters I would have my boobies put back where they belong, have a tummy tuck, have the scar removed from my check (if this were actually possible), get rid of the cellulite, go back to younger looking hands with no veins showing, and maybe fuller lips. Really I never got teased about anything in school other than my teeth. Braces fixed that problem.

I wouldn't be sorry to see some wrinkles go but to be honest .... I am caring less and less about most of the "stuff" now (other than the hole in my cheek) ....

I am what I am and so, I'll do the best with what I have got and just accept my lumps and lines LOL

My stretch marks on my hips.....grrrrr. I've got a little build, but I used to basically look like a boy...straight up and down, no curves. But, when my body decided it wanted to make me un-boyish, it happened all too fast and my poor skin on my hips didn't have enough time to react....so I have about 5 small white lines on the right side and 3 on the left. FH asked if they were burn scars the first time he saw them....lol.

Other then my weight, I am completely happy with my body. I am porportioned, just large porportions :). I could stand to lose 100 or so pounds, and when I do, b/c I will someday, I just have to find that motivating factor, I will probably be unhappy about what's left, but for now, I'm okay with everything.

hmmmmm do you know what it's called?

It's not a pockmark (aka scarring from acne ... there was no pimple). A hole just appeared one day .... I think it must have been a black head that emptied (for lack of a better word) and the skin didn't fill in. It's small but it bugs me because it fills with dirt (TMI) and looks "dirty" ... I really have no idea if others notice it but I know it's there.

I talked to a dr. that does veins and botax etc. and she told me that I would probably have to see a plastic surgeon .... if I understood her right, it's kind of like having a cyst or mole removed.

It was by a company called AcneFree. I don't know if it's a Walgreens only thing, but I found this link for it: http://www.shoplocal.com/lid-2091998660prid-99389_-acnefree-.fp

Matt and I were just talking about this last night! We were watching the preview for next weeks "Here come the Newlyweds"

I asked him what 5 things he thinks I would change about myself he did okay, he picked a few things I didn't have in mind though haha

Anyways they are:
My height - I am like between 4'11 and 5'0 I usually just say 5'0 to make myself sound better haha. I wish I was more like 5'4 or so.

My stomach, even with losing 13 lbs since New Years I have only lost an inch in that area.

My thighs

My chest (haha TMI but I would go for a size smaller

and I can't remember the 5th, so it must not have been that important haha

I agree, I know it bothers me sometimes when I'm watching TV with FH and if there's something with all these "perfect" looking women on there and then he wants to get "snuggly"::hint,hint::(sorry if TMI) and I jsut dont feel like it bc then I'm suddenly body conscious, does anyone else have this problem?
And he'll be like whats' wrong, I'm thinking oh nothing I jsut love to watch "perfect people" doing whatever in there "perfect little bodies" so now I'd just love for you to see all my obvious flaws!:purplex:

The only thing that bugs me is my loose skin/stretch marks on my tummy. I'm 5'4, and weigh 114, so it's not like I'm overweight. Having two kids really wrecks your body though. As time goes on though, the stretch marks are getting fainter and fainter, but DF wants a kid eventually (my two are not his) so I know they'll all come back with a vengeance.
