So..Darrin and I decided to go with the Justice of the Peace to marry us. Well....my mom always told me that this one lady was really weird but my mom couldn't remember why. I decided I would give this lady a call. I would set up a time for Darrin and I to go meet her and finalize what I want in the wedding. When I was talking to her I thought she was kinda weird.

Anyways...to cut the story short...my mom's best friend called me last night. She wanted to let me know what this lady was like....Come to find out she is into witchcraft and studying Saten.

Sorry if any of you guys are into it. It spooks me out. I couldn't sleep at all last night...just worrying what was gonna happen.

I'm kinda thinking that I need to rethink of having someone who I feel comfortable with doing my wedding. I'm just spooked.

You hit the nail on the head right here. Regardless of the type of vendor, you need to have that comfort level, or you'll just be adding unnecessary stress.

Yeah, I agree if you dont feel comfortable with that kind of thing than go with someone else! I personally find it creepy too..no offense to those who do it...charlies sister does that kind of stuff and for some reason it just gives me the creeps :) But good luck with it all and dont do it if you dont feel comfortable:bblol:

Secondly, I have to say you can't believe everything you hear. Gossip is mostly just gossip. It's why people still believe Obama is a Muslim who refuses to say the pledge. :upsidown:


On a similar note, I have a friend who is a witch. She's just about the sweetest person I've ever met. Real witchcraft doesn't have anything to do with Satan anyway...in fact, most don't believe there IS a Satan.

Yeah, but regardless of whether it is true or WHAT exactly she believes/practices, if she makes you uneasy then you should find someone you're comfortable with. Even if they are just rumors, the seed has been planted and it will be in the back of your head, and you don't need any added stress!

Regardless of what this person does in her private life, or what rumors may be going around about her; if you are not comfortable with her for whatever reason (that should only matter to you), then you should look elsewhere for an officiate.
