Dear Elizabeth,

Don't let Hugh read this post.

Love,
Chase

:bblol:

So today I got the mole on my nose removed. :purplex:

You remember how the first one on my chin went awesomely? This one was a little more tricky.

First, because the skin around the nose is so sensitive, the numbing needle hurt like a MUTHAH! It was pretty bad. Both of my eyes were gushing tears (not crying...just watery eyes from pain..ya know?).

Then she couldn't get the area numb so they had to do it FOUR times. Four big ol' needles in my nose. Ouch!

THEN because they had to stick me so many times, the whole side of my face was numb....including my teeth! LOL! And because there was so much medicine in my face, my nose and eye swelled up...and I got a freaking black eye!!!

THENNNNNNNN! Apparently, there are a ton of blood vessels in the nose, so it bled like crazy. Still is, actually. They said to not even bend over because the blood rushing to my head would make it bleed more.

With my other removal, I had a tiny band aid on my face. Right now, I have a HUGE white bandage across my face and it looks like I just got a nose job....or got beat up!

And it doesn't feel very good, either. It, for some reason, feels like I have a big ol' hole in my face. And now I have a headache. Heheheheh!

So yeah.

Fun times.

On another note...you guys probably think I'm some kind of ogre with my moles and my black eyes and my hairy monkey arms. ROFLMAO! I'm really actually cute...honestly!

LOL I AM hiding the screen from him .... black eyes ... oh my!!!!

I feel for you girl :) You are so brave! Can you feel your face yet or are you drooling too?

I wanted to have a hole (don't know where the heck it came from but now it's there and fills up with dirt - I can't stand it!) removed from my cheek .... now I am shaking. :purplex:

Regardless, it'll be worth it in the end. I'm SO glad to have that little sucker removed! :bblol:

I asked them if I could see the mole after they removed it (they keep it and send it to the lab). The nurse let me see the vial and that thing was DEEP! They go through all three layers to remove it....I'd say it was almost half an inch deep. CRAZY!

I'd say it was almost half an inch deep. CRAZY!

It will be especially sweet since you went through so much to do it :)

Eeeeek! Hmmmm DH might not be in for "all of that" since it's more or less a "recent" development.

Aww, I hope you feel better! That sounds scary. I've had a few moles removed but nothing that caused black eyes, hehe. (Uh, of course, none of them were near my eyes... but...whatever) Anyway, it will be so worth to have it off and be even more beautiful at your wedding!

Thanks, ladies!

The swelling is down more today...and my eye looks much better. :bblol: My boss had me with an ice pack on my face half the day and she kept rubbing lidocaine on me so it wouldn't hurt. LOL

It should be back to fairly normal by Monday. Woohoo! And the doctor said that this one should heal even better than the first one, which is awesome since the first one is doing GREAT!

I still have to take pics. MAN, I'm lazy lately!

OH nooooo! I'm glad you're healing up!!! Feel better! :flower:

I need to get a couple of moles removed, too! Because I only work during the academic school year, I was planning to get my moles removed in July... but your post scared me now. :sweatdrop: Maybe I'll let the little red mole on my nose be...

I've been meaning to do some before/during/after pictures on my moles...but just never did it. So here are a couple.

Before....moles on nose and chin:

During/after...mole on chin gone and 1 stitch in my nose (which will be removed tomorrow):

I'm SO thrilled with how it's worked out. The one on my chin barely noticeable now and it hasn't even been a whole month yet. The doctor said it would be red for about 3 or 4 months. He said the nose one will heal even better!

(BTW, I slather my chin in vitamin E oil every night. It helps!)
