I would just drink lots of water....relax and DO NOT STRESS!! Try not to eat too much sugar! I have this same problem but mine only gets crazy when I get stressed out or eat tons of candy! You will be fine if you just wash your face twice a day and drink all the water you can handle!! I use noxema and that works great on my face!! Good Luck!

Clean and Clear Maximum-Strength Persa Gel 10! It's cheap and it's a life-saver! All of my stress-zits are gone in 48 hours!

Also, as smileyone2002 said, drinking lots of water (and green tea too) is good!

Head over to http://www.acne.org - they have some great advice.

What is this shot that you speak of? I've never heard of that before.

Nutregena has a body wash you can use for your back. I have not tried it, but I do use there products on my face and have good results.

BTW I used to use Proactive, it may work for some people, but I was one that it didn't. Plus it stained the collars of some of my clothes.

anything with benzoyl peroxide will bleach clothes, carpet, towel, so be careful.

One of my best friends used it as well and she said it didn't do anything for her. I tried that Murad one when I was younger and that made me break out in a rash.

I am glad I don't get breakouts anymore.

But like everyone else said drink plenty of water.

I have been using Noxzema triple clean for years and have had hardly any acne (but I am on bc too, so that helps ALOT). You just wash your face with it twice a day and it works pretty good, im sure you could use it in other areas as well. It does make your skin a little dry but Id rather have dry than oily and breakouts.

I use a mud mask from wal-mart I don't remember what it is called, but it helps zaps zits and redness. Also I put on honey on my face like a mask and leave on for a half hour. It doesn't help with the zits now but it helps with future zits because it kills bacteria that lives on your skin.

Apple has alpha hydroxy acid which helps cleaning the skin and erasing fine lines and minor scars. It could be useful for acne sufferers.

You will need a roasted apple and sugar for this recipe. Crush the apple with a fork and mix it with sugar.

Does all birth control help with acne? How about Loestrin?
I would be afraid to start something with the fear it may make my skin worse!

Drink lots of water, limit the soda/sugar. Use a gentle cleanser and a BHA product (salicylic acid - Stridex alcohol free pads are good). Use a light moisturizer - by keeping your skin hydrated, your skin won't overcompensate and produce more oil, which leads to breakouts. Use a benzoyl peroxide product at night on spots.

Also, don't go back and finish an antibiotic. First off, you shouldn't have any leftover because when you are prescribed antibiotics, you need to finish off the entire prescription. Secondly, different antibiotics are prescribed for different things, and taking a short course could do more harm than good.

I went to a dermatologist last week with the whole "help! I'm getting married in May and I want pretty skin!" whine...lol :bblol: He prescribed me an oral antibiotic, a topical antibiotic and a cleanser containing glycolic acid. So far I haven't gotten any new ones - so yay! Here's hoping it works!

Oooooo I was so upset when I started getting a pimple a couple days ago! But luckily it ended up just being a small one. Dang PMS pimples! I've started taking Aleve, because I've heard if you take it 1-2 times a day during PMS it'll keep them from coming in the first place. Hope that's true! My spots take weeks/months to heal/fade...so I literally don't have time for any new ones!!

And I REALLY hope my makeup can totally cover them! Guess I'll find out tomorrow when my mom shows me how to use it :bblol:

Do not take the antibiotics you have left. That could cause a resistance to it and if you have an infection, you are not going to be able to take that specific antibiotic. Also, it is a bad idea to take medicines without knowing exactly what they do. Go for the soaps and creams

Also, it is a bad idea to take medicines without knowing exactly what they do. Go for the soaps and creamsIf the soaps and cremes had worked, I never would've had to go to the dermatologist. I have polycystic ovary syndrome, which causes acne (among other things), so simple benzoil peroxide isn't going to fix my issue. The antibiotics aren't going to fix it long term either, but I just need something to work NOW. After the wedding I'll figure out another treatment method.

Queen Helene Mint Julep mask is CHEAP and works well. Also, through www.acne.org you can buy Dan Kern's acne regimne. I started using it a month or two ago and have noticed huge improvements in my skin (acne, unevenness, etc). It doesn't seem like it would be that effective because it's just cleanser, benzoyl peroxide and moisturizer. But it realy DOES help, and a bunch of people on that website agree!
