I wanna buy someone here something off their registry. I think it would be exciting!

Mods? Ladies?

Any ideas on how can we make this a game?

(I was going to suggest we all tell our names/where we're registered...but I understand this is a public forum and that may not fly with most people. So I need a different idea that wouldn't attract internet stalkers. LOL)

Ah! that would be awesome. i have been a part of swaps on other boards and this one would really be so fun! I just found out the first item off our registry was bought (Well other than the many that I've randomly bought or my mom has been buying for us).
Exciting... keep me updated, I'd love to be a part of it. :)

That would be so much fun! But we aren't registered anywhere yet!

Would this just be for those getting married or for the already married too?

Maybe we could do it like a home & garden exchange (ie - only things for your home) and have it open to all, but it wouldn't necessarily be from your registry. We could list a few say $10-$20 items on the Elfster wish list instead ... I think something like that could work.

What do you guys think about that? If you all want to do something like this, maybe we could make it a Spring exchange and do it about April or May.

That could work too!

I wasn't thinking about the married ladies or the non-registered. I guess that would count out a lot of us, huh? :bblol: Oops!

I still wanna randomly buy something off someone's registry, though. Hmmm.

Even though most of the time we limit these sort of things to regular active members having 100+ posts or been here for 3+ months.

I still wanna randomly buy something off someone's registry, though. Hmmm.LOL - That is nice I guess ... you got some money you just gotta spend?! ;)

I think that this would be a neat idea! I like the idea of buying someone something off of thier registry. Maybe we could have an opition of getting them something off thier list if we get someone that isnt married yet...

Aww, you are so nice :bun:

I am just poor (especially with taxes coming up) and hope all my friends here understand and will accept my well wishes instead :sweatdrop: :grinhappy:

Well if we did a spring gift exchange, there is no reason that you can't use their registry, if you get someone who has one. However, I don't have much money to spare either, so I would have to really think about whether or not I could participate.

I was going to suggest though, that if people have a wedding website, either on here or somewhere else, you could find info from that if you really wanted to buy something, kwim? It's really nice of you, chase!!

I love the idea of buying something off someone's registry. :) I have tons of things under 10 bucks on mine, im sure other people do too-- maybe we could brainstorm some ideas for the married ladies/non registered ladies, :)
