There was one good thing about it being quiet though. I got more work done around here since I wasn't sitting at the computer all day catching up on everyone's posts

I am here now. Just back from Maine. It was a good trip. One bad thing was I had to say good bye to my grand dad. He doesnt have much longer. But then my sister and I got alot figured out for the wedding. My brother in law and his mom want to do the food for the wedding for us as a gift. I tell ya, if a few more people want to give me a gift like this I will be all set. The food, the hotel for the night, the flowers, the pictures. But ya know it is STILL costing me an arm and a leg.

On the way back Nicholas was sick. It started last nigth and he had to ride with being sick all day. Not fun. He is now in bed. And I had to stop and meet the photographer. If I put it off I may not have met her till the wedding day. And I didnt want that. We got a few things cleared up.

It was a very long and tiring day but I am here and the kids are busy with a movie so now I think I am going to try to catch up on some posts I missed over the weekend.

Hey Gwen, glad you got some wedding details worked out while on your trip! Sorry to hear about your grandfather ... hope everyone gets to feeling better soon and hope you don't get sick.

Well, I still gotta wash some clothes and I am kinda tired (even though I slept in the car half the way back :wink:) so I may turn in early tonight ... I will catch up more later.

My computer died on Sunday afternoon so i haven't been able to get infront of another one until this morning. Mark was using his most of sunday night, and one of the groomsmen came up for dinner.
Yesterday i was down at my moms and we got all the invitations, RSVP and map cards cut out! It was great! My invitations only cost mr $95 to make!!! Now i have to put them in envelopes!
Anyways... Mark set up his lap top for me to use while my computer is in the shop. The one things i don't like about mac's.... they are complicated to fix!

Not that anyone knows, me, really, but I am here off and on today. I have to say, I only signed on to here last week, but's already been a big help. Before I started reading the postings, my wedding still seemed like it wasn't real, and I had no clue where to start. Now I seem to be able to make decisions, and acutally plan things.

My excuse....I've been trying to unpack this god forsaken house! We've down sized so I'm having a few problems finding room for everything we own!! I told my DH that the next time we build a house I am designing the whole dang thing to suit MY needs!!! Lol!! That and it'll be out in the country! Lmao! I hate living in the city, and I can't wait to get my horse I've always dreamed of!! But yeah, I'll be popping on when I have a spare moment, but really don't expect too much from me!! Me and Andrew have been doing some house hunting the past couple of days. His parents house is getting foreclosed on. It came up kinda out of the blue, so we're trying to find something he can afford for a while. He doesn't really want to rent b/c that's just throwing his money away. We were thinking we could find something maybe either to fix up and sell in about a year, or live in together. So that's where I've been the past couple of days.

I have dealign with a sick FH and I was not feeling so well myself. Came home early yesterday and slept for about 3 hours before having to pick up my daughter. Then tonight I had to take them down to their dads. He ahsn't seen them for about 3 weeks so he wanted them even though my daughter will miss 2 days of school. but she hasn't missed any all year so I am not worried about it. If we are lucky he will have them for 4 days next week. That will be a nice break.
