Okay so most of you guys know about my story of the disaster trying to find a wedding planner. The whole point of getting a wedding planner was because I am a full time student and really don't have a whole lot of time to deal with wedding details and stress from school at the same time. Especially right now, because one of my classes requires me to take a week long trip to New York (yea horrible I know) and I am going to have to make-up a weeks worth of homework.
So here's the problem my grandma's friend said she would be my wedding planner, which I didn't really like that idea but I wasn't given much of a choice.
The first week or so after I 'agreed' to this girl being my wedding planner, she e-mailed me a few times and seemed to be working on some stuff. Well I haven't heard from her since, that was probably 3 weeks ago. I mentioned this to my grandma and she said well just tell me what you want done and I'll take care of it. Which upset me because my grandma is now working 2 jobs to help pay for the wedding and my trip to NYC because I can't work and do all of this. (I'm an art major and I spend a LOT of time in the studios working.)
So I'm trying not to get REALLY stressed but I can't help it. I just don't want my stress to get passed to my grandma because she has enough to worry about. I don't understand why I couldn't just pay someone to plan the rest.
