I'm still a newby. What is w the 100th post??
Hi Heather,
Welcome to the boards! A "post" is exactly what you have typed. Everytime you post a question and or a response, it is called a post! Hope this helps. Maybe someone can explain it better, but this is the simplest way to tell ya.
So, let us know what your plans are, colours, wedding date, ideas..etc...we love hearing details! ;)

I just wasn't sure what the excitement of the 100th post was. I have seen a few girls put that on here, wasn't sure what it mean.
Our wedding will be an antique-y western theme, which I see is pretty popular. I am not totally set on the colors yet,but know that I will be wearing a necklace that belonged to my great grandmother. It has light blue stones in it, so I want to center some color around that.
We are set for November 4th this year. I seemed like a long time away when we set the date (which we did last weekend), but now I am getting nervouse because he don't have any real details worked out.
That sounds great! You have a theme set and a possible colour scheme, now you can run with it. Just let us know if we can offer you any ideas, advice, suggestions. Everyone is really creative here! Just a question, when you say western, you mean, cowboy hats?

Actually, yes. Josh is a redneck to say the least. But, he's cute, so that makes up for it. heehee. I don't know that he will be able to wear in in the ceramony, as we will be in a church, but during the recption it probubly won't come off. I love it when he wears his hat. He is so handsome w it on. I posted a pic on my profile w him wearing it. I don't know if it's wierd to do that. I haven't done this sort of thing before.

My Fh is wanting to wear a cowboy hat. He has the cowboy boots already. He needed new ones and he said they are better then his old pair. We are hoping to get him the hat he watns but it cost $150. If we get him the hat my 4 yr old son will have one too. I still have to oder his boots though. They are going to look so cute.

It really is a cute idea. My son, and future stepson will be dressed the same, so it will be nice.

I love your picture on your profile, you two make such a cute couple.
When we set our date (last February) it felt soooo far away, and now it's a month and a half awaay and I can't believe it. Everyone told me to enjoy the engagement and wedding planning, and I wish I did more. I worried constantly and stressed about details, but none of that was necessary. Enjoy your time and don't worry about the planning, everything will fall together nicely.

Thanks Shawna, I looked up your site and you two are adorable!!! I wish you many many wonderful years together. I have been told as well to enjoy the engagement and wedding planning. I really think that I will. I am usually the person designated to plan surprise parties, holiday parties, etc for our friends, so I love the whole planning thing. I am going to have a great deal of help as well from my maid of honor, who has been my best friend since we were in jr high. She is a wiz at this too. I am just so excited. I can't wait.
