Your worst hair

KMS and tootsie talking about shaving their heads made me think about this ... how many "bad" hair cuts have you had in your life? How many styles have you had that you look back on and laugh about now?

Oh man I wish I had a picture but in high school I had my hair cut like wynonna rider. Very very short. Right before graduation I needed a hair cut but the usual girl was a vacation for 2 weeks, so I tried someone new. She totally didn't listen to my instructions and "tried something new". She cut my bangs so so short like 1/2 inch long. I busted in tears. LOL, I don't believe I had to pay either. When I got home, I locked myself in my bathroom and wouldn't let Jon see it. When I finally let him in the look of his face was so funny because he was trying not to laugh. Then we busted out laughing, and nicknamed the awful hair cut my mental patient haircut. Never again will I have short hair!

OK, I have had super short hair, the short curly "afro" looking perm, I had a rat tail at one point and a mullet! Then in High School I had the big curly hair ;)

I've had bad color more than bad cuts. My hair cut usually stays the same. I will sometimes cut it shorter or sometimes have bangs, but for the most part, it never changes. Probably the worst my hair has ever looked was a few years ago. I had been dying it every few months because I would get bored with the color and it eventually just kind of stopped absorbing new color and was this yucky purplish-brown color. I had to get it professionally bleached out, which killed my hair. I've only dyed it twice since then.

in middle school i wanted to be like my brother so i had a under cut... where you shave all of your head except the top so you can put it in a slick pony tail lol

I had my hair cut really short in 8th grade and because I have really thick hair it looked like I had an afro. I don't know if I have those pictures anywhere.

Oh I completely forgot! Or maybe I blocked it out. I had a bowl hair cut when I was 6, for a punishment. I decided I wanted a hair collection and cut my own hair with my fisher price scissors. My mom took my to the hair dressers and made them give me a bowl hair cut to teach me a lesson.

All I can say is AquaNet hairspray - that should explain how bad and puffy and teased my hair was :laugh:

Oh man, I've had some good ones. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I don't have any shots of them on this computer. When I was around 5 I had hair to my butt, then I got a really tight-curled fro of a perm... THEN I got a horrible knot in the back of my head that couldn't be brushed out... also when I was little someone cut my bangs so that they started like 3 inches back from my forehead. Ugh. Anyway, the last year has been my worst hair in a long while, and I am desperately trying to fix it. It's decent now, just needs to grow out.

Then for awhile it grow out to where it was kind of like a long Mrs. Brady look...with a bowl surrounding my head and a little tail thing covering the back and sides of my neck, ugh! So that finally got cut off and now it's pretty much one length, but shapeless and ugly. Couple months and it will all be better :)

My worst cut was when I was about twenty. My girlfriend took me to some "avant garde" salon and I came out with this asymmetrical thing, shorter on one side, kind of like Christian on Project Runway, but it didn't stick out so much.
The worst color was all on my own. In the 80's henna (which colored your hair auburn) was popular. It was powder, you mixed it into a paste with water, painted it on with a brush, and wrapped it in saran wrap. It was green and looked like horse s**t. The longer you left it on, the deeper the color. I left it on so long my hair was magenta:upsidown:! Luckily, as a vegetable based color, it washed out over time like the temp colors we have today. It calmed down after a couple weeks.
Now I have my plain, straight hair down to my butt, just like high school. I was supposed to get it cut to a chin length bob and donate it to Locks of Love, but my stylist's back was acting up, and we had to postpone.

My stepmom at the time took me to get my hair cut right before I started a new school in 7th grade. She told the lady to cut it short and I was SO upset...the lady cut it SO short that I looked like a boy and it looked like I had a mushroom on my head... I was so upset and embarrased to start a new school. Some of the kids thought I was a boy wearing pink!:bbmad:

I have to complain about my perm in the 5th grade(my Gramma took me to get it and I told the lady i wanted one of those body wave things,) but she cut my hair b4 she permed it so it ended up looking like Shirley Temple! then when I was in 11th grade I got tired of my waist length hair and had it cut in a bob to my chin...not so bad...after high school I got one of those really choppy chin length cuts cute at first but once it started to grow out it made me feel like an ewok! (the only way to describe it!)lol
now its a little above my shoulders and tapers towards the front....hoping I can keep the scissors out of it so it will be longer and stylable come wedding time!
