Ok ladys the countdown is on. I have 2 months and no favors lol. I just got the cake today lol. We have 250 7inch vases that are wider on the top than bottom. We got them for a quarter each so we had to get themm. The thought was make candels in them. Well we found out they are not tempered glass so we cant or they wll break. Any ideas? Our colors are pink and green. Thanks soooo much

Here is the vase. I forgot to say we are not using any flowers at all in the wedding just crystals. I thought about candy but FH was affraid that they would spill when people took them home.

Fill them with cookies or candies. Or this could be time consuming but get some floral foam put it the vase. Then buy or make flower loli pops and stick them in the floral foam.

you could use a piece of tulle tied with a ribbon at the top to prevent spilling...

Thanks girls. I really wanted to put the tea light in the bottom but with it not being tempered im worried it will just shatter. With it being so close to easter too I was thinking filling it witht the pink and green easter grass and candys also.
You can do the LED tea lights!

Or you can fill them with jelly bellies or M&M's of your colors then use a tulle or organza wrap for it to top it off... Just an idea :D
OH! Or you can fill them with Jell-O, and float a flower blossom in it... or float some edible goodies in them. Hmmm might make em hard to clean though.

Easter sticks?
I think M and M's at the bottom would be cute!
2 long lollipops!
Stick to candy!
plastic eggs with candy in them! They have some really cute new ones that are pretty nice!

I think that if you filled them with m&m's that would be SUPER cute!! You can go to walmart and get the easter m&m's and pick out the pink and green ones!! You could mix the two colors or alternate with the pink and the green. Good Luck!! Ohh or you could use jelly beans...go check out the easter candy...that is what I am going to do, my colors are also pink and green:laugh:

I have the same colors for my wedding and I too am planning on using easter grass. I purchased a bunch from Garden Ridge about 1 month ago. Here is what I am planning on using it for... There will be larger lolli pops and more ...but this is all I have at the moment.

I am going to use it as a filler in a few things... it really sparkles. It looks better in a cylinder or bowl but I grabbed that glass vase because it was right there : )

Ummm I dont know if this is a silly idea but if you did the pink grass then maybe you could purchase green gumballs and kind of spread them around in the grass...

what about colored stones or jewel rocks in the bottom, fill with water and float a tealight at the top or a floating candle. Or you could go to a craft store and get pretty beads in your colors for the bottom. tie some ribbon in a bow around the middle for added decoration.
