Hi Ladies,
My cousin is getting married and wants a Winter wedding. She asked me for ideas but I really have no clue where to start. I've only helped with Spring/Summer weddings. Did anyone here get married in the Winter and can lend some advice?
Thanks ;)

Winter weddings can be really fun. First, think about colors. If you are getting married in Dec, you can go with the traditional red and green. Think about adding some gold or silver as your accent. For something different, consider going with an ice blue as this is a good color for any winter wedding.
For centerpieces, you can wrap different sized boxes in foil wrapping and create a nice display. You could also find small sleds and fill them with candy.
Because it's cold in the winter, you may want to consider having a soup bar. Soups warm you and provide a feeling of comfort. For a signature drink, think warm. What about Irish Coffee, Hot Buttered Rum, or even just plain hot chocolate.
That's just a few ideas for you and I hoped they helped.

Thanks for sharing, but this thread is several months old and the original poster hasn't been around for months either ;)
