Ohio couples have White (Castle) wedding

Thu Feb 14, 5:37 PM ET

Three couples got the Valentine's Day wedding they craved on Thursday, marrying at a White Castle in the restaurant chain's home city.
The morning ceremony at the burger joint, which features the slogan "What You Crave," involved a flower girl who threw salt and pepper packets instead of rice, and employee name tags on the grooms' lapels.
The cake resembled a White Castle tray holding three "slyder" burgers, fries and a drink — all made of cake and frosting.
Cyndie Nunamaker of Plain City, 17 miles northwest of Columbus, said she and new husband Brian Wilson opted for the alternative wedding because they love White Castle.
The nuptials were broadcast live on a local radio station, which paid for the flowers and other arrangements.

Would anyone here consider doing this? :)

:bblol: That is pretty funny; I don't think I'd do anything like that, but if that was what they wanted then more power to them :p

Oh man, I'd better not let FH find out about this.

I wouldn't be able to do anything really "out there" for my wedding because they always end up in the news. I don't want my wedding to just be the hot topic of the day.

My FH wanted a Star Wars wedding with him as Darth Vader and me as Queen Amidala and the groomsmen as Stormtroopers. Every guy I've mentioned this to has thought this was the best idea, lol. I vetoed it saying that I didn't really want a picture of Vader and Amidala hanging on the wall for the rest of our lives, lol.

Haha. I kind find the kitschy humor in that, but would never consider anything of the sort!

LOL i would never do it.. But i did used to tease Steve before he proposed.. I said we would get married in Mc donalds and instead of people throwing rice, they would throw those balls from the play pit at us.. and we would have a burger cake and stuff. Could you tell i was getting a little sick of waiting? LOL
