I've been contacted about petsitting a BD in the future, but I don't know a whole lot about them. I'm willing to read up on them and learn as much as possible in case she doesn't find anyone else.

Like the lizard -

I don't have any experience with them; I had an Iguana once.
Here, I found this website that talks about them - www.peteducation.com (http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=17&cat=1796&articleid=2730)
I don't think my dogs would like the lizard :p

Hehe. You ladies are too funny!
Thanks, Brenda. Any info you can get for me would be great. I think BDs are cool and would love to learn more about them even if we don't end up petsitting for this girl.

FH has had Beardies before (and Iguanas), and raves about how wonderful they are. I've played with them, but never owned one, but I will say it's the most affectionate reptile I've ever played with. They're very sweet and docile, and love human contact. If you're sitting watching TV or something, they'll actually just sit on you (usually close to your heart - it's warm!) and chill.

I love animals, but I'm just not sure that I could deal with a lizard sitting close to my heart! :petrified: I tend to do better with fur than scales!
