Funny you should ask, because I just bought it on eBay like an hour ago!

It's got a bunch of cute eyelet action going on. Also, I am going to fill out the top way better than the plastic model :bblol:

Or...if I decide I don't like that one, I'm going to wear this (which I bought for my shower):

I figure between one of the two I'll have a favorite. I have yet ANOTHER dress I'm bidding on that's bright red and probably more appropriate for my bachelorette party, but it's an option too. Can you tell I am a little bit obsessed with buying cute dresses? This wedding is giving me a great excuse to fall in love with eBay all over again.

I think i know what i want to wear.. but it depends where Steve's parents decide where the dinner is.. My sis and i are going to both wear black dresses though.. Not matching, but they are a like. *^^*

For our rehearsal dinner we're thinking VERY casual, burgers and hotdogs at a nearby forest preserve. I might throw on a skirt, but chances are I'll be in jeans and a tshirt. I know I'm not much help lol.

This is what I am wearing for my bridal shower.... the rehersal dinner is going to be at FH parents house outside, and I am probably going to wear something a little more casual for that!

Well, since this is the 2nd time for both of us, we aren't doing a big formal rehearsal dinner. We are actually doing an old fashioned backyard cookout and it's at the end of this month, so it may be cool.

I'm actually buying a new pantsuit that is casual - or might even use this as an excuse to buy a new pair of good jeans and a sweater set.

Especially since we have to set up and tear down the rental equipment for it.

But, if you are having a nice dinner, I would find a pretty dress. Ann Taylor has some really beautiful dresses on sale for under $100. They are silk and satin and just lovely.

www.anntaylor.com - look under the SALE section on the left navigation.

I also just did a search for one of my dear friends who is not in the wedding party, but she's stressing over what to wear to the wedding, and I found some fantastic buys at JC Penny under the dress section. They weren't too expensive either.

Good Luck !

I didn't end up deciding what I was wearing until I was running out the door. Um, don't do that. I was rushed and I wish that I would have been able to shave my legs, put on a nice dress, etc. I just didn't have time! I was too busy packing for our honeymoon that we were leaving on the next day!

This is basically what I wore. Minus the funnery. LOL. This was at the lingerie shower afterwards!

So far our dinner might be at Texas West BBQ then the rehearsal at the Barn... so it seems we're going to be real casual. I'm thinking I want to get a cutesy denim dress that I can wear my boots with :)

denim dress + boots = cuteness!

I want to find some pink (un)leather cowboy boots to wear to the rodeo so bad this year! I think that I may have luck if I go to some resale shops and root around! I don't wear leather, but if I were purchasing something recycled I would still consider buying them in leather. We'll see!

Anyways, back to the subject. Sounds cute and perfect for your venue! :flower:

Even though mine will be a laid back dinner, I still want to dress nice.

Me, too. We're talkin about doing a very low key (and small) rehearsal dinner, but since all eyes will be on US, I want to look cute. :D

I'm wearing this for the dinner on Friday night, because of all the out of town people. But the rehearsal is actually Thursday, so I'll need to find something to wear for that too. LOL

OMGosh! I didnt even think about needing something special to wear that night? 'Course we dont really know where we're going yet...and my FH is a jeans and t-shirt kinda guy so I dont know how easy it would be convincing him to "dress-up" all weekend:) I'll probably end up in something cute an comfy (a sundress with a sweater?) or jeans and a nice blouse...who knows.lol

I'm going to school for fashion design, so I'm going to be making mine, using the dress from the movie "13 going on 30" that she wears during the thriller dance part as my inspiration. Ever since I saw it, I wanted it....come to find out it's Versace and $4000! Eeeps! So, I'm just going to make my own replica...hehe. Here's the dress I'm talking about:

Sorry I don't have any pics (at work right now) But I told my mom that since she is getting me in a dress on the day of the wedding then for the rehearsal I want to wear jeans and a sweatshirt.... I DO NOT LIKE WEARING DRESSES... I am a jeans and sweartshirt type of girl, laid back and comfy.

I am thinking of getting a nice pair of jeans and making a pink sweatshirt that has bride on it in crystals... haha... it would be a little dressy ;) But really haven't decided yet... if not maybe just some nice dress black pants and a sweater....
