How many times have you been a bridesmaid?

Just curious how many weddings everyone has stood up in.

I've been in two, maid of honor both times.

I have been in 5 weddings, 3 as BM, one as MOH, and 1 as the FG...However, I know I still have at least 2 more to be in! YIKES!! Too many long dresses!

I've been a bridesmaid twice. Once for my cousin's wedding and once for Chad's sister. I've also been a MOH once for my best friends wedding. So three total...so far. I know that I'm nowhere near done.

I was a maid of honor once - and I photographed the reception - wearing the worst dress EVER.

My friend was getting married to her rancher fiance way out in the boonies and I wasn't able to get out there to help her with anything. It was kind of a shot-gun wedding and had to be done quickly...so they actually sewed my dress on me the morning of the wedding. She had her cousin do the previous fittings and since she was a little more endowed up top than I am the dress just looked ridiculous.

Since I was a wedding photographer, and still do assist every once in a while I have worked at a million weddings (give or take... LOL!)

I've been a flower girl twice and that was almost 15 years ago! I haven't been to wedding (besides my own) in 15 years! Sheeeeeesh!

I guess I am the veteran here! I have been the MOH 3 times and a bridesmaid twice. No more upcoming that I yet know of. I have at least one more unmarried friend that I would probably be asked to be a bridesmaid. My run is almost over I guess.

Never. My friends that are already married were married before I knew them, and the rest of my friends are no way near being ready for marriage. LOL

I was sort of a bridesmaid. I wore the dress, but never appeared in the wedding ceremony. My childhood best friend is LDS and was married in the temple, but had a trio of bridesmaids for the reception. But I did catch the bouquet. :)

in one wedding they broke off the engagement so that would have been 3 times
in another wedding she asked me but in the end i guess he couldnt find a groomsman on his side, and i told her it was okay, i prefer to be a guest :)

so if i would have been in the other 2 it would have been 4 total.

i know i will be in my best friend wedding

I've never been a bridesmaid!

I was married once (and will be a bride again!) -- I was a flower girl once ( I think, I can't really remember) but recently my job when my friends get married is to take care of all of the little stuff :)

The last time somebody got married I booked it from the ceremony to the reception site where I and two other people wound up setting the tables, pouring the water, making coffee and tea, and basically doing everything that the "catering" people were supposed to do -- my friends had gotten their favorite restaurant to deliver food, but that's ALL the restaurant did! Deliver the food! We had to convince the delivery girl to stay and help serve! And we ran around filling water glasses and so on . . . . . .

My friend has never learned the extent of damage control I did for her reception, and she never will :) I was glad to do it, because I love my friends. And I learned from that what NOT to do for my own reception!

I have been a BM 2 times! I was thrilled everytime.... I loooove all this wedding stuff! My MOH/BFF has been a bridesmaid like 17 times!!!!! She has tons of friends BUT ... this is the FIRST time she will be a MOH in MY WEDDING!

When that movie "27 Dresses" came out ... I called and told her that they were making a movie about her life! HA!

I've never been in a wedding, in fact the only wedding I remember ever going to was this past September, my cousin and his wife. So its hard planning for a wedding when you never actually been to that many. Thats where all of you ladies come in, I love reading all the post to get ideas and suggestions!!
