My little guy

Little Stephen Ryan decided to make his appearance last week! Born Feb 5, 2008 at 1:12 pm. 6lbs 14 oz, 19 3/4 inches. He is such a sweet and laid back baby. I'm so happy to finally have him here with me. Although it still seems kind of surreal that he is mine!

Delievery went very well. Really quick actually. Had some contractions Monday, but they went away. Woke up with back pain Tuesday morning and the doctor said to come in and get something for the pain. Well I got there and was 7 cm. The baby was born 3 hours later!

He is so cute and I really like the name you picked out. I'll trade you a almost 3 year old girl for him LOL! Just kidding, I would REALLY miss any of my kids if they were gone too long. I am just now getting to where I don't mind not worrying about them when they spend the night at my parents or my inlaws. The only way I have labor that quick is if I have a C-section. Make sure you sleep when he does or you will be worn out before you know it.

Yes we are very blessed. Thank you everyone.
He was 3 days early. Due the 8th, showed up the 5th. Sleep is already getting better. He slept for 5 hours straight last night, ate, and when right back to sleep!

Here is a recent photo of Ryan. This was taken about a week ago now. He is a little of 6 weeks old now. Weighing just over 10 lbs and about 22 inches long. He's growing so fast. Sleeping 6 hours at a time, holding his head up on his own, starting to smile a little, cooing like crazy. Just a sweet little boy!

Alright; a little hockey fan!!! I do hope he's not rooting for the 8th place (16th overall) Flyers though. The Canadians are in first place in the eastern conference ya know (tied for 3rd overall) :)
