Has anyone made their own card box & what exactly is makes a cardbox beachy? And maybe I am too ignorant of the cardbox but does this just go on the gift table or should it have its own table? Thanks!

Hey Beach Brides,

I'm not sure how the whole card box thing works since I haven't been to a wedding in some time. Are you guys going to have the box on a table at the beach or just at the reception? I'm not having a reception and I really do not want to encourage gifts at all. I just thought if someone brings a card, they might need a place to put it. We are having dinner after the wedding at a local restaurant. That's where we'll be doing the cake. Ideas?

I am having mine inside at the reception where the guest book is. In your case, can you just appoint a friend to collect any cards or have the card box at the restaurant?
