Here's the deal, my sister let me borrow her viel. I am not sure I want to use it or not but I may have to. Can't afford a new one and a headpiece like i wanted. But her veil has the head piece attached. It is white and it sits on top or your head and the veil is attached to the back. If I decide to use this I need to get it cleaned. It has been hanging around since she got married about 5 1/2 yrs ago.
How would I go about cleaning this? Any advice would be great.

I would say you are going to have to take it to get dry cleaned. Especailly if the head piece and all of that is attached. You don't want to run the risk of damaging anything.

Yeah I would say take it to the cleaners. If it didn't have a headpiece, you could probably clean it yourself in the tub.
:goodluck:

I think i'd save myself the hassel and get it dry cleaned as well. Unless you used a type of delicate detergant.
Good luck either way :)

You could do what my aunt did with her antique wedding gown. She and my uncle bought the softest baby size tooth brushes they could. Then they filled my grandma's bathtub up with room temperature water. They soaked the dress in the water with a gentle detergent (Woolite). Then any stianed spots they very gently rubbed with the brush.
