How much candy?

I know a lot of you are doing a candy bar. We are planning to do one as well, and we are doing it as a surprise. My question is, how do I know how much candy to buy? I have figured out what kind of candy I want, just no clue how much to get. Our guest list is about 80. I want to get Chinese takeout boxes for guests to fill with the candy. Help me please, if you can! :)

We had a candy bar, but we ended up with a ton of candy left over because we bought a ton of candy lol. But leftovers aren't so bad ;). Maybe like a pound of candy for every 10 people? Because not everyone will eat their share and some others will eat more. That is just a random guess though.
