DH and I don't really celebrate V-day, sometimes we get each other cards, sometimes not.

Katy, I added the stuffed animal option the poll and marked your vote for that :)

I voted "other" cus I'm actually taking HIM out... there's this wonderful restaurant I've been to a half dozen times or so for work dinners/events, and keep promising to take him.... so I'm taking him for Vday this year.

Other than that, we'll probably just do cards, and he might surprise me with chocolate covered strawberries from a local chocolatier *drool*

I wouldn't be upset with getting chocolate covered strawberries, I love them. But strawberries are out of season and I always wonder where people get them in the winter and if they are good.

Huh, I never thought about that.... then again, in CA, I don't think they're ever out of season, so they might just fly them in from warmer states.

Here's where he's gotten them for me before, and they were AMAZING....

I voted other

All I want for Valentines is some hanky panky...Living with the inlaws makes it very awkward...so we might be going to a nice hotel on the weekend of V.day...
Or we can go to some cheap motel lol as long as its got a bed thats disease free lol =)

Well it's our anniversary so I'd really just like a card for that. A teddy bear or little treats would be fun.

I voted a dinner out but really any kind of date would be perfect rather it would be dinner, movies, or snowboarding. I don't care as long as we get to do something together.

We'll probably just do cards cuz we had a weekend away a few weeks ago. It was nice to pick out a card for him that said HUSBAND on it!

I would love to see some flowers! But i doubt i will. DH isn't a flower giving guy. We'll probably go out for dinner on the weekend since he's teaching that night.

I really am begging him to just get me a card this year because we're doing a lot for his birthday this weekend and we're including valentine's day since he's not here during the week.... so I didn't want to make a big fuss. Knowing him though, there will be flowers or something. He knows I love flowers and he spoils me with them an awful lot :)

He bought me a book! And not just any book, but an academic work that I've been wanting for a long time, refuting the myth that single women in the Renaissance and early modern era didn't/couldn't do anything for themselves like own property or have a business.

Ok, I'm such a nerd. But what's romantic about this is that I didn't have to prompt him! Not once!

We're also going out to dinner and going to roller derby. He might get me flowers, we'll see.

But my Valentine's Day Wish is that our realtor calls and tells us that the bank accepted our offer on 'our' house!!! What a present that would be :)

I would just like to remind all of you going out to dinner gals that some skilled chef has to make that wonderful Valentine's dinner for you...like my new husband! :bbmrgreen: Haha! I almost voted that I would like to go out for a nice dinner until I realized that he'll be working every Valentine's for probably the next ten years! Boohoo!

I really want a nice card. It's our first VDay as husband and wife and I still haven't been able to get a "husband" card for him because I just break down and have to walk away from the section. Such a mush ball right now, I am!
