Can you imagine this? Would you do it or trash it?

Can someone pick my jaw up off the floor?
Me? I probably would have wrote the check for $25 or so ......
I wonder what would have happened if they had done that .... would the mystery benifactor have made the cheque for $125,000 because they weren't being greedy?

Wonder if it pays to hang out in bars nowadays? haha. Just a thought.

There was an older guy that use to hang out at a restaurant I worked at who would give out big tips. We assumed he was a lonely guy; he would give out $20, $50 or more, even to people that were not waiting on him, as long as you were nice to him.
I don't know what I would do in the situation mentioned in this case though.

This happened 45 mins from me. I have been to the town many times but haven't eaten at that particular place.

I was thinking the same thing. I could think of a few places I'd rather go to give away $100,000 than a bar. It's still a wonderful thing that this guy has done, but I would have much rather given the money to, say, a single Mom working at the local grocery store making minimum wage, or someone volunteering their time to a good cause, or just anyone that may not be getting rewarded for the hard work that they're doing. Of course, I tend to over-think everything, lol.
A guy that I work with recently got into a head-on collision while on the job. It wasn't his fault, a woman on the freeway lost control and crossed the center divider and hit him. Anyway, he's raising 5 kids and his wife is a stay-at-home Mom, so obviously him being out of work was going to be a hardship for them and their finances. Anyway, I guess some stranger had heard about the accident and anonymously gave him $800. I guess this guy saves his money and when he hears of someone in need, he anonymously gives them whatever's in his account, then starts over. It was wonderful and really helped them out.

WOW! What a nice gesture, I guess there are just some people out there with LOTS of money and want to share it. It is very touching!

Wow, what a nice thing to do! I can't even imagine that much money.. i don't think i've ever had anything over $2,000 at once.. And that was when i was living at home and saving to go to Japan (went by the skin of my teeth, lol).

It's actually a restaurant that has a bar in it. So they were eating, not just hanging out at a bar.
Also I have heard this guy does this kind of stuff often. Once a month he does. One lady he bought a brand new car for.
