I live in sweden an saw the most beautiful dress here,is a Davids Bridal gown. It is a used dress and the former bride bougth it in the USA.

Now for my question...how can I see if that dress is a original Davids Bridal design?

it is very popular here is sweden to buy dresses directly from china so I am very confused and don't want this dress to just me a copy of my dreamgown.

So please help!
Maybe someone can explain how the tags look like or something,anything!

Do DB gowns even have tags that say DB?

ETA - I would think that most dresses that get copied by the Chinese dress shops are the expensive designer ones.

have never seen an original DB dress before thats why i ask :bbcry:

No one in sweden sells that kind of dresses,they are VERY exclusive for us. One store i stockholm sells maggie sottero dresses for example,and thats it!


Wedding are not a very big thing here,not yet anyway ;)

and all of the swedish dresses are sooo boring! just plain and strange,like Ikea :D

Have you tried the David's Bridal website to see if they still carry the dress? I'm not quite sure what the tags are like.....I'd guess that it would be the original dress though. I mean, David's Bridal is big in the US, but I don't think it's high end enough for people to duplicate the dresses....:grinhappy:

Oh I hope so,that is the real thing.
And DB is very big out of the US,look here there is two replicas on this chinese company for example

Yes, David's Bridal dresses have "David's Bridal" on the little straps that are on every dress. I believe even their brand name dresses are changed to "David's Bridal"
