My dad just bought our airfaire for our honeymoon!!! Now we just gotta finish with our downpayment for the resort and we're going to be 100% officially booked for Jamaica!!!!! I'm SO PSYCHED!!!!

We're going to the Ocho Rios Sandal's Resort... for 7 days! I'm psyched... I don't know if I"m more excited about the wedding itself or the honeymoon... is that bad? :D

Hahaha, nope. I'm way more excited about my honeymoon too!

You should definitely take a day or half a day and go to Dunn's River Falls. (There are merchants after the falls that will try to bother you, but if you don't bring extra cash then you don't have to worry about being suckered into buying something. Though this would be the place for a Jamaican shopping experience.)

I deffinitely plan to spend at least half a day in town learning a bit bout the culture and of course! shopping! We do want to do the Dunns River Falls excursion... Also (not sure if it's the same one or not) but we want to go to Bob Marley's home villiage. Matt is a huge fan, so that's going to happen. Thank you! Any more recommendations?? We're not going to be spending much time in our room that's for sure!!

I haven't been to Ocho Rios for 15 years. I can recommend things around Montego Bay (we went there last year) but I'd actually recommend staying near the Ocho Rios area as much as possible.

When I was there 15 years ago, we spent most of our time swimming, snorkelling and riding jet skis. We did go horseback riding through the local areas, and that was pretty different. There should also be a botanical garden near that area. The hotel set up most of our excursions for us and I'm pretty sure made sure we got there and back (but I was a teenager at the time so I didn't pay much attention to the logistics).
