So just when I think I'm 100% sold on a dress, I run across one in the new Knot magazine that makes me drool.... I mean, seriously drool.
However, it's a line I've never heard of, and the closest shop that carries the line is some 4 hours away!!
Has anyone had any experience with Pattis Bridal? Anyone seen their gowns in person before?

#1517 - Charlette. I just love it... the detail on it is just amazing, and the reembroidered swiss dot mesh is so light and airy.... I love the back of it as well....sexy, but subtle.

:D thank you... now if I can just see it/touch it/try it on in person.... *sigh*
They've got a lot of gorgeous gowns, and I like that some styles offer detachable sleeves (i.e. more coverage for a church ceremony, then you could remove them for the reception).

WOOT!!! Yes, I said WOOT....
So there are no stores in my area that carry this gown, and I am so completely enamoured of it, I must see it in person....
I contacted a couple of the shops in other areas of the state, as well as the manufacturer to see if anyone has it in stock, how much, or if someone locally could order it for me....
First, I heard back IMMEDIATELY from the manufacturer (very impressive!).... second, they've been SOOO helpful... I've exchanged a half dozen or so emails with them, they're contacting a few stores around the state for me, AND I gave them the names of some local bridal shops I like, so their rep is going to contact them about ordering it for me.
THEN, I heard back from a shop in Tampa that just got it in, in ivory (which is probably what I would order)... and it's AFFORDABLE!!!! $879!!!!! And the shop does free alterations, OR, if it doesn't need alterations, they give you 10% off the price of the gown.... Double woot!!
I'm so excited!! I was so terrified this dress was going to end up being $5000 or something ridiculous, but at $879? It shall be mine!!!

:D Me, too!!! I've been on pins and needles trying to locate this thing... I noticed in my last batch of bridal mags, there are at least three features showing gowns from this line, so I'm thinking they're pretty new still....
I asked the shop in Tampa to get some photos of it, so I can see the ivory... if they're able to get some for me, I'll post them up. :D

Ahhhhh! I know exactly what you mean...I went to check out the dress that you like (which is gorgeous, btw) and now her Cherelle dress has me second guessing my first pick also.....they're similar, but this one seems a bit more romantic...I'm going to have to try them both on and see which one I like best I guess! Thanks for the site, I might have found the potential dream dress....again? Haha.:bblol:

:D My MoH went over every dress on the site last night (I love the zoom feature... really allows you to see the detail well).... The more I look at them, the more I love them. They're just so romantic, but still simple and sexy in terms of silhouette. They're just very feminine.... :hare:

Yep. It's official. "The dress" is changing to the Cherelle dress from this collection. Everyone it agrees that it has a bit more of a softer wedding feel to it than the first original one, but it's still got the charmeuse fabric and low back that I was drawn to. So thank you suuuuuper lots for sharing that site! :bbmrgreen: Oh, and I'd shop around for prices too....I don't know if it's just in this area but when I contacted the boutiques around here that carried the line to see if they had the dress in stock and inquire about the price of it, there was major differences! The first bridal shop e-mailed me back and said they don't have it in store but that they can order it for me and that it would run $880. The second one to get back to me said they had it in store and it was $1,150. :bbeek: Talk about inflating the price! So I'm going to go to the store that has it to try it on and if I loooove it as much as I do in the picture when it's on me, I'm going to go to the other place and have them order it for me! :bblol: Hehehe.

Oh I'm so happy you found something you love!!!!!
WOW, that one shop IS way inflating.... I've seen a couple other dresses in magazine features lately, and they were both in this same price range (upper $800's to $920), so the $879 quoted by the first shop I spoke to seems in line, but I'll definitely call around a bit more, too. :D

So I finally have some progress on the gown front.... I'd still been emailing back and forth with Jensen at Pattis. I'd given them a list of shops in the area in hopes their sales rep could get one of them to order it for me.... but two weeks had gone by, and no word.
Jensen followed up with me this morning to see if I'd spoken to someone at a particular shop -- he'd given her my name, they're already set up with that vendor, so it'd be no problem for them to order it for me. He'd emailed me the info a week ago, but Yahoo apparently ate the message, so I never go it!! I'm so glad he followed up with me today!!
So I'm going to try to make an appointment with this shop sometime this week and we'll see what happens from there!
WOOT!!

I have to say I'm VERRRY impressed with their C.S. I think it bodes well for the kind of help I'd get in the event of a problem with the dress or anything like that.

I know it's been awhile but where in WI did you find a shop that carries Pattis Bridal Gowns? I love the Dahlia (I think that's what it's called). Thanks so much :)

Hello
i read your comments on pattis dresses. I also found they were gorgeous. I already contacted pattis to give me the location of stores in canada.
I was wondering about the prices for two dresses and wanted to know if you could help me; diore and dhalia.
Are they below 2000$ CAD?
Which one did u girls prefer? Have you tried them on? Do they look as nice as on the website?
please let me know asap....
thanks
