Is there a way get candle wax out of fabric or has my husband ruined a perfectly good pair of trousers?

Try putting a paper towel over it and then ironing it.

Yep, a towel or paper bag (like the brown grocery bags) should work!

The iron thing works great! OR...freeze it and it should chip right off!

Oh you are no fun at all ....

Other interesting methods include ....

Ice cubes
or
repeatedly tickling the nostril with a feather or piece of fluff

As you can see I'm rather bored today and not wanting to work. Plus hubby is due home later so my mind is elsewhere. :D:D

The methods I was referring to is meant to be used when you want to "get back" at DH not "get at" him :)

BTW - you ladies are fantastic! I used a combo of freezer/scraping + brown paper/iron. The candle wax is gone!
