I got to talk to Treasia yesterday :) using Skype; pc to pc free calls.

I only have a microphone (no pc cam) so we just chatted but IMHO free calls are a good thang LOL

It was neat to hear her southern drawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwl. :D

LOL I went looking for an old remote mic that I used to have and DH showed me that we have a built in mic :)

Now I am trying to get my second cousin, in Scotland to sign up.

Almost all IM programs (Yahoo, MSN, ICQ AOL, ETC) have built into their programs the ability to call PC to PC for free. Nice program, if your clients have a mic, to contact you. Saves on the phone bill.

PC to PC chat is always free but the neat thing about this is that you can call PC to phone. The first call is free but after that, it's less expensive than the best long distance plans. If this was around when Hugh and I were dating long distance .... we might not be paying off phone bills still :rofl:

Long distant calls are expensive, but my phone company has a great deal, unlimited in N. America for $20 a month.

Yeah I have that but just for Canada. I am planning to use this to connect with relatives in Scotland & England and friends in Australia & France :)

I have used it for a number of business interviews that have been done. As well as talking to Elizabeth. LOL. I enjoy hearing her and Hugh's accents too. Not to mention Hughs deep voice. Ok, I will shut up now for fear of making Elizabeth mad. hahaha

I think you miss typed it. Shouldn't it have been "enough ooot of you missy!". :D

Sometimes, but not bad. :D I probably would not have noticed if you hadn't something about it one time. LOL. I think it's cute though. When we first started talking I had, at times, a hard time understanding you. Probably figure you did as well though.:D

We have been using Skype since beginning of Jauary 2008 my father in law to be is over in Iraq for 6 months and its wonderful us to use....

Easy peasy. I just downloaded the software and turned it on ... LOL it's like msn messenger. I did the mic test (I assume you have a built in mic too) and that went off without a hitch. I'll turn mine on today. If you want to add me, my nic name is the same as here. Just add me, and then click on my name & hit the call button.
