I just bought material for a seamstress to make sleeves for my dress and now I am wondering how much it will be to have a bustle added to my dress. What did you pay?

She did mention that it would be more if she had to put the train under my dress.. but I want it on the outside.
**** I know someone asked....A bustle is used to pull up the train... so you would want it during you're reception etc...
Here is how I want mine done...

I took my dress to the seamstress today.. I am having her create sleeves for my dress... I really hope they come out nice... I am very stressed over the sleeves.

Well you ladies are scaring me... lol. I am hoping that the lady I spoke to did not misinform me : (
It is supposed to cost under 100.00 to have sleeves added on... she is custom making them too.

What about having someone make you a satin or lace bolero? I'm having someone make me one. Like this:

Around here it's like $20 for the first loop, then $10 for each additional loop. I will need about 3 loops.. and alterations... ugh.

I confirmed it with my seamstress again today... It is only 14.95 to have the bustle added on top of the dress!!! WOoo hoooo I was worried :)
I love the bolero but I am not so sure it would look right with my dress plus I don't want to cover up any of the beading...detaill..etc
I feel like I live at the bridal shop... I have been there about 10 times in the past week...lol They know me by name and sight now ... which is good. (I think)

I think I paid around $20 to have it put on the outside. I was going to do inside because I think it looks better that way, but my train has such a nice design on it that I wanted it showing, the seamstress tried but couldnt really come up with a way for it to be under and still have the pattern showing.
