I am a big music person, I buy alot of music.

The last CD I got was about a month ago. I got Thrice - VHEISSU (don't ask me how to say it ;) http://www.myspace.com/thrice ... Carrie, you might like them)

DH and I have a pretty large collection of CD's ... and a pretty big list of others we need to get too. I like to buy music on eBay too.

So anyway, I was just thinking and wondered what kind of music everyone here liked.

The last CDs that I bought were....Two Queen CDs and MuchDance 2006 (Don't think they have that in the states...just a compilation of todays popular music) and Lives Greatest hits. I love music too! I will listen to most anything with a good beat!! (and meaningful lyrics)

OK the last CD I bought was awhile ago, but after last night's Grammys it seems to have been a good investment: How to Dimantle an Atomic Bomb by my boys U2. But for Christmas I got, The Trees They Grow so High by Sarah Brightman, Peachtree Road by Elton John, and The Unforgettable Fire by U2.

Weblady, do yourself a favor and pick up The Margerine Eclipse. It's Stereolab's newest CD (and my favorite one by them). They're definitley in my top 5 favorites.. Along with Tool, Led Zep, Bob Dylan, and Etta James (her blues stuff, not so much the R&B/Soul stuff).

I looked them up and heard a few snippets; sounds cool, a little mellow but there are moods for that too ;)

I couldn't find the whole song online but the part I heard of 'Wake Up' sounded nice :)

Fortunately I saw Miranda Lambert and Rascal Flatts in there or else my Trace Adkins cd would feel very lonely. It's been awhile since I bought a cd...I do rent them from the library and listen to those a ton! My top 5 would include Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Rascal Flatts, and Alanis Morrisette *hums sesame street song one of these things is not like the other*. I'm HUGE into music!

My brother knows a place online where you pay per megabite of music rather than song, so he can get a whole album for like $1.00! He downloaded Carrie Underwood's cd for me, but it hasn't been burned yet, so I don't have it...it's just sitting on his laptop, six hours away, teasing me. I do burn a lot of mix cds for work because I can listen to headphones while I'm working. I got an I-Pod for Christmas, but it's my brother's old one and he didn't give me directions for it, so I haven't been able to use it yet...I'm so new technological stuff illiterate!

Speaking of music and bands. I am going out tonight with a bunch of friends to a thing called rock on. There will be two local bands playing! I can't wait. I haven't been out in awhile. It will be fun to just dance all night. It's BYOB too so I won't have to spend $4 for a small mixed drink! LOL!!

Anyone else have plans this weekend?

CarlosHoney

We're going to look at our reception venue. If everything works out, we'll be putting our deposit down!!

Other than that, just hanging out with my favorite guys!

Yeah we haven't been on any vacation since the honeymoon. We usually try to go somewhere at least for the weekend, at least once a year. Before the honeymoon we hadn't gone anywhere in 2 years.

I hope you guys have a great honeymoon, I bet you will miss the kids though ;)

My weekend started off with me working until noon. No FH is out shopping ( for me ) and the kids and I are about to head out and get the laundry done. Seeing tomorrow we are supposed to get dumped on with about a foot of snow. FH has to go out in it to go to work first ting in the morning. The kids and I will be lazy all day and venture out to play for a while once the snow builds up.

Now next weekend is a different story. We are taking the kids to see Monsters Inc. on Ice Saturday morning. Then later in the after noon we are headed home to see my mom and the rest of the family. She was supposed to come back with me and stay for a week but my grandfather is not doing well so she feels she should stay home. I can understnad. I hope I make it home before anything happens to him though. But I dont have to drive 7 hours up and back alone with the kids. With my om and little brother not coming back with me FH can get the time off from work and go with me.

OK I realy rambled on there sorry. Just filled ya in on 2 weekends. lol

Hey all I told you I would tell you what the first cd we played in the new house was, and it was Queen. Hubby's choice not mine, but hey I don't mind Queen all that much! I've got a few of their cds in my truck! I think he found it when he was unpacking and the old memories came flooding back and he just HAD to play it! The first one I played was our mix cd from our wedding!! (because I just got a new sound system for my computer!! Complete with subwoofer!! YAY!!)
