error message on my first reply

I get the error message (this is my first reply) saying I am prohibited from posting images or URLs until I'm known in the community...
BUT....
I'm not doing that... I'm just trying to reply to a post (no images, no URLs).

Can someone help?

Did you try to add a smiley or any .com, .net, .org or .ca web site?

nope... nothing like that.

actually i think i found the problem and got it to work.... i tried reposting my reply without entering a title in the "Title:" field.

Yeah, I don't know what the problem would be as long as you were not posting images or links.

ETA - It could have been any number of things that the system picked up on. It shouldn't stop you from posting "normal" messages; so just keep posting and in time you will become a "trusted member" with full access to all the board functions :)
