Rustic / Vineyard theme

Anyone have some ideas on this ?
Wasn't sure of a theme when I went to see a decorator. My girls are wearing eggplant so we went with the grapes. And I love gold with it so its going to be eggplant and gold. Right now the only actual grapes will be on a vine at the head table. The ceiling will have vines wrapped with lights and gold orgnaza. Sticking with the rustic type flowers if that makes sense.
I love the idea now but never hear much of a response. Anyone ever heard of this ? TIA

Sounds nice to me ... great for a fall wedding. I can see deep purples, gold, and jade green.

Not sure what you mean by 'rustic flowers' but, ooh, dark purple calla lillies would be great!

That is a great theme! It will be so beautiful. Are you going to get married in a vineyard too? Or are you just using the theme for decorating? Do you have any pics of ideas that you have for decorating yet? If you need any help let us know. :D

No we aren't getting married in a vineyard . Would be a great idea though for sure. The decorations so far are the vines with organza and lights. They had some flower arrangments already made up to go with it. Alot of little rustic pillars and arch ways as well. I'm going to have eggplant runners on the tables with a candle in a round holder with gold in it. Hard to explain. Its exciting for sure :)

I like the cake, with the blackberries!! So cool!!

You could get some gold leaf and make some eggplant/gold grapes. Just an idea.

Also, one of the prettiest and cheapest things I've seen is to take simple tea lights, dip them in glue, then dip them in glitter. Or you could sprinkle very fine gold glitter on the tables. I think we might do that.

I'll share some pictures once I get some taken :)
I like the gold dust idea. Not sure what type of things I can put on the tables due to clean up rules. Some places don't like things like that on the tables as they get all over the floor.
