Hair clips?

Instead of wearing a tiara and or veil I want to wear a nice flower in my hair. It's going to be down and curly/wavy. I want to put a big white flower of some sort in my hair.

Where could I buy this or could I make it? I need some ideas.

I don't want to wear a veil either. The flower thing sounds like a good idea. I was thinking about doing a jeweled head band. I'm not too sure yet though.

I'm big on doing it yourself but if you don't want to do that, you can look elsewhere for inspiration.

I saw instructions of how to make your own a couple of months ago, I swear it was on the DIY network, but now I can't find it. Anyways it looked pretty easy to make. They took silk flowers and hot glued it on a plastic comb.

thanks this is actually what I am looking for. Since we are eloping veil will be too elegant and other head pieces are too overwhelming. I just want something nice and simple.
