Hey you guys!! I got an interview set up with the Human Resources Department at the hospital I've been doing my clinicals at! It's Friday at 12:30. I'm so excited and just had to share it with ya'll!!! :D

Well, I had the interview today. I met with the HR guy (he asked me a bunch of questions that were on his "interview checklist") and then he took me to the head of the department where I'm trying to get on at. Her name is Helen and she's really sweet. She told me she had heard good things about me from the other employees I've been working with during my internship. And she told me she'd have to talk to the nurse manager to see if they could hire students for respiratory positions. But if they couldn't, they may try to create a position for me, or they may hire me as a patient care technician until I take my certification tests and then move me up to the respiratory department.

So I'm thinking this sounds promising. I don't know when I'll find out for sure (and it's going to kill me having to wait!!), but hopefully it'll be soon!

I'm so glad to hear the interview went well for you! It does sound very promising/ Especially if they are thinking they might make a position for you!
I hope you get the job!
